Cookie Kingdom World, Stolen OCs and so much more.

What is CKW?  

It’s a gacha roleplay game on roblox inspired by Cookierun Kingdom, and Dandy’s world, two very big games and popular with young audiences. All the cookie characters in the game are original characters ( known as OCs)  and aren’t official CRK characters. ( more on that later.)

The payment problems of CKW

People who have done work for CKW have had lack of payment, and also have claimed they are underpaid for the work that they do.

As shown here in this screenshot, redacted user  explains frustrations with the application process:  

The application process is quite bare bones,  and doesn’t ask the applicant’s age. (Link)

It lacks any transparency in payment for mods or devs.

An example of what they pay DEVELOPERS to do work for their game:

Wither expressing frustrations of not being paid by the owners for their dev work

Because Wither came forward and exposed how they had not been paid for a substantial amount of dev work, they got timed out.

 There is an attempt to pay hush money and cover the whole thing up as well as an attempt to be rid of wither from the dev team due to an incident in 2021 unrelated to CWK, where wither was working for a grown man at 14 on a Jurassic Park game. The dev for this game had sent Wither feet pics, and would sexually harass Wither. So Wither had retaliated, and created a hidden backdoor. (and so they used this excuse to say Wither was too dangerous to be on the CKW Dev team, as well as server.)

The Bot situation.

        For a certain period of time, there were explicit/NSFW bot commands in a mutual discord server that had sexual names, and odd commands.

Stolen OCS, Tracing and plagiarism

The owners for CKW have and will steal OCs without permission, and even with OCs that are added with consent, they will make it very difficult to have your OC removed from their game, especially since the owners do NO real dev work and rely on their very young dev team to do all the work for them.

OCs STOLEN : Choco Fudge Cookie and Vanilla Cream Cookie

Kityowle has an OC named Choco Fudge Cookie who was taken without their permission and put into CKW. Owle was made aware through a friend who played this game, and eventually would request for her OC to be removed from the game entirely, but got push back when doing so. Later on claims he had permission to add them when talking to Soda.

Bl0ssom-skies or Abbie is the owner of an OC named Vanilla Cream cookie, another stolen OC that was put in CKW without permission, and expressed a want for it to be removed from the game entirely.

Statement from Soda

Here are my reasons:

  1. Lock told one of my best friends to cut me off their closest friends cause’ they left the game

  1. The owners (Lock and Brillient) refuse to remove characters that they "originally had permission to add” from the game such as Crystal Rose and my character Mist Void Cookie.

  1. They overwork their developers with a tight update per week to “keep the player base entertained.” I used the argument that “If the players liked the game. Then they would play the game even if there weren't weekly updates.”

  1. They made it so those working could not hang out with their friends or anything because of said schedule

  1. They changed the apology message about the stolen OCs into a “BLAME WITHER” message because of something they did when they were young (2021 backkdoor situation) as in 14 when they were in a situation with a toxic person.

  1. The ENTIRE game is a cash grab, they will try to convince you otherwise but in reality it’s just a pay to win Dandy’s World.

This is why I left the project

And brilliant, one of the owners,  contacted me after I left asking me why. I told him a couple reasons, cause’ i was asked not to tell them in specific. In the end he said “I am recording this conversation for my own safety” which I don’t know why he would need to do that. I will have more free time to do my own things now. I reported the game for stolen assets because they don’t want to remove my character and other taken characters.

Traced Thumbail

        There was a thumbnail for CKW that was very clearly traced from official CRK artwork for Black Pearl. Screenshots will be provided. The thumbnail is no longer in the game’s front page, however the situation was documented very closely.

There was a conversation of making 4 shopkeeper OCs, between lock and seemingly an artist for CKW.

Lucky spin pricing seemingly is  quite steep, the game being a gacha game, and primarily a young player basse means these children are gambling and spending a lot of money on simply a chance, not guarantee.
