OCCULT CRESCENT STUFFS

- Occult Crescent is GREAT for farming mathematics while also progressing in its own system!

Quests
“A RUINED LAND”
- The quest where Archive tells you to go south is #7 on the map.
“QUEST NAME”
- The quest where Archive has you collecting stones will have orange circle indicators.
“QUEST NAME”
- For the Civilization Ruins quest, I know that #9 is necessary because that's when I unlocked it. I also believe that #13 and #15 may be necessary for it given the stone collection that comes afterwards
“A Common Thread”
- Has orange indicators from the above.
- (x 5.4, y 25.1), (x 30.1, y 37.3), and ), (x15.4, y 5.8)
- The one in the crystal tunnels is extremely annoying to get. Take a rez mage AND tank with you! (Or be a ninja)
“Past and Crescent”
- I unlocked this one immediately after turning in the rocks, which means as long as you have 7, 9, 12, 13,15,19,21, AND 23 you will have it unlocked.
- For this quest you need to complete the critical encounter “Calamity Bound” for a contract. Calamity Bound spawns at ( 14.5 , 37.8 ) from killing CRESCENT INKSTAIN.
- Fun fact….I went to go confirm the type of monster needed to spawn this and missed the CE timer.
- Fun Fact #2. I was aggroed by something after rezzing someone else, causing me to be unable to mount. The CE spawned again, and I missed it by literally one second after spending another two hours trying to get it to spawn. It is now 6:31 PM EST. I have been within 2 steps of this fate twice and been locked out twice.
- Update. As of 11:03 PM EST, I finally got the fate done…lol.
After you have completed the Calamity Bound CE and finished the quest, you’ll unlock extra things at the Expedition Antiquarian for sanguinite. This will be covered more in Forked Tower!
FOR NOW THAT’S WHERE THE QUEST LINE ENDS. AFTER THIS, YOU SHOULD LEVEL, SILVER AND GOLD FARM UNTIL THE NEXT PART!

You LOOOOOOVE atma farming don’t you WoL? Anyway get farming. If you don’t want to do it in Crescent I’ve put the DT locations below. You only need to Atma farm for the 1st relic. You need THREE OF EACH TYPE. Subsequent relics are 1500 tomes.

Critical Engagements
I’ve kind of got the intention of sorting these with stoplight colors based on how awful they are.
Green - Go for it!
Yellow - Just be cautious.
Red - Wipe imminent.
“WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE” - (X 14.3, Y, 9.2) - Worst CE thus far. - SPAWN:

- Command Urn is annoying, but not ‘complicated.’ I hate this fight, and I think it’s the worst so far.. It’s not hard to know what's going to happen, but it's easy to misread the tell.
- The boss will cast either circle or cross markers towards the robots. Once they reach, they will explode in a circle or cross aoe. He can do one or two of these at once.
- There is a DPS check to stop them from self-destructing.
- This is the ONLY CE I have wiped thus far.
“SHARK ATTACK” - ( X. 19.1, Y. 4.4) - LOG DROP!- SPAWN: CRESCENT PETALODITE


- Very forgiving, basically you just have to spin around in a circle and watch where the sharks are going to land. Doesn’t really have any confusing patterns.
- The water droplets hit pretty hard but they go around the stage in a direct line.
“THE BLACK REGIMENT” - ( X 30.3 , 28.7 ) - LOG DROP! SPAWN: CRESCENT PANTHERS (lv14)


- Honestly, this one isn’t too awful. It can get a little annoying when the flying ones position during cyclone, but otherwise once you see the pattern you’ll be fine.
- “Choco Windstorm” = OUT
- “Choco Cyclone” = IN
“ETERNAL WATCH” - ( X 38.9 , Y 24.9 ) - SPAWN:

- Having done this one a few times I don’t find it too awful. The green/brow will blow up green/brown orbs into a circle that isn’t too large. It can get messy visually but if you have shields you’ll be fine.
- The ‘light’ proximity aoes hit HARD.
“ON THE HUNT” -( X 34.2 , Y 20.4 ) SPAWN: CRESCENT FANS (Lv5)


- Despite what you may think, I don’t feel this CE is that hard. Don’t think too hard about the timers. Getting hit by one thing is fine, as I was surviving even with 4 vulnerability stacks as a healer.
- You only really need to remember the rocks that have the sparkle bombs under them. Everything else you can just react when the timers are about to go off.
- May drop Oracle Soul Shard
CALAMITY BOUND - ( 14.5 , 37.8 ) SPAWN: CRESCENT INKSTAINS (lv20)


- Needed for story quest. So it’s green because you’re going to do it anyway.
- In reality, I genuinely think this is one of the easiest fates, its just a numbers game
“THE UNBRIDLED” - ( 33.8 , 37.4 ) SPAWN: CRESCENT DEMON PAWNS(lv17)


- Berseker Boss!
- Fun Fact; Time Mage can dispel his damage up buff.
- The boss isn’t too difficult. He isn’t zelinia, so he cleaves opposite of where his axe is raised.
- This fate might drop the Berserker Soul Shard
“CURSED CONCERN” - ( 22.8 , 10.5 ) - BEST CE EVER! SPAWN:

- THIS IS MY FAVORITE FATE!! ♥️
- The curses are things we’ve seen plenty of, outside of the shell. Just go towards the outer circle and point yourself inwards if you have the green shell.
- BASIC MATH FOR COINS! YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO DO PRIMES!
- Green = Face in. | Ice/Blue = Keep moving | Fire/Red = Stop Moving (this is impossible for people)



“NOISE COMPLAINT” - ( 30.7 , 14.1 ) SPAWN:


- This fate seems tricky, but it’s not. Pay attention to the birds.
- The boss will always run towards the bird with an exclamation point on its head, and then do a super big circle aoe that you just need to stand far from. When that bird flies away, it'll turn and cleave inwards, so you want to be standing on the side of the boss.
“COMPANY OF STONE” - ( 35.2 , 16.3 ) SPAWN:

- Simple fate. End is a dps check. Man skirts.
“FLAME OF DUSK” - ( 10.1 , 18.2 ) SPAWN:

- No, it’s not hard. You just have to remember if it's line, in, knockback, or center. Say it out loud as the birds are storing the tells and you’ll be fine.
“CRAWLING DEATH” - ( 35.1 , 32.0 ) SPAWN:

- This CE is only difficult if you close your eyes. I actually think it's one of the easier ones around. Vertical slashes will be front and back, horizontal will be side slashes, and then it will do the opposite. Sometimes it summons clones that mirror this but they just leave a corner safe when they cleave.
“TRIAL BY CLAW” - ( 13.4 , 22.9 ) SPAWN:

- Life comes at you fast. And by life I mean this fate.
- Purple = OUT, Green = IN. Crystals will teleport to the color under them and mimic what the dragon does.
- The crystals 1,2, and 3 are tied to the floor circle on the ground. Youll have to look at the crystals and one of circles will always be safe to stand in based on the number of crystals with 1,2, or 3 on them.

“SCOURGE OF THE MIND” - ( 27.5 , 36.1 ) - SPAWN: CRESCENT MONK (?)


- Now this Fate can go either one of two ways. Just annoying and you live, or everyone mis-reads the imps and dies. Otherwise, It’s just a ‘hey, pay attention’. Nothing here hits SUPER hard. It can just get really bad really fast.
“FROM TIMES BEGONE” - ( 5.5 , 26.4 ) - LOG DROP! - SPAWN: CRESCENT BYBLOS (lv13)


- The most confusing part about this is the arcane orbs, and they’re actually really simple! They will shoot out in telegraphs quickly, but youll want to go stand in the second line of them and then just move into the first after they’ve already gone off.
- Bombs: Circle AOE, Swords: Cross AOE, Demon: Frontal Cone
- May also drop record #14 !
Phantom Jobs
Phantom Jobs & Buffs
It should be noted that anything here is just my own personal experience while playing it. If you want to try something out, you should! And honestly, I think Phantom jobs are an improvement over lost actions. All you have to do is level them all, but I don’t see that being difficult at all.
Buffs & Mastery
Phantom Jobs can have PARTY WIDE BUFFS that are activated by using the said action near KNOWLEDGE STONES. These buffs persist for 30 minutes and can be refreshed at any stone. You can apply all of these at once if you switch!

PHANTOM MONK’S COUNTERSTANCE: Party Wide Movement Speed increase
PHANTOM BARD’S ROMEO’S BALLAD: 10% Party Wide EXP bonus in OVERWORLD MOBS
Once you reach level cap with a job, you’ll get a stack of PHANTOM MASTERY. It permanently increases your damage and healing in Occult Crescent. So keep doing those CEs and Fates until they’re all mastered!

Phantom Time Mage - UNLOCK: 1,000 E. SILVER PIECES AT THE CAMP

All about debuffs. It’s great if you want to have a bunch of support skills, but everything except for the slow and dispel have longer cooldowns. It has no traits either so what you see is what you get.
Fun fact, dispel works on bosses damage up!
Phantom Cannoneer - UNLOCK: 1,000 E. SILVER PIECES AT THE CAMP

Phantom Chemist - UNLOCK: 1,000 E. SILVER PIECES AT THE CAMP
- Allows you to use the kind of expensive “Occult Potion” on other players. It’s an expensive job but it allows you to fully restore all of a players MP/HP and then eventually your entire party’s HP/MP.
- It also allows you to Rez in limited rez areas–it’ll likely be the support for Forked Tower

Phantom Geomancer - UNLOCK: 1,600 E. GOLD PIECES AT THE CAMP

Silver & Gold Currency
Silver
- Silver Pieces drop primarily from Critical Engagements and Fates. You’ll mainly be doing those anyway, but it is needed for the Arcanaut attire that gives you bonuses while in the Occult Crescent.
- One set of Arcanaut’s attire for your role is a whopping 20,000 silver pieces. HOWEVER! I recommend getting the riding map first for 3,000.
- The Arcanaut’s attire IS GOOD, particularly in occult crescent.
- It’s slightly better than unmelded crafted gear, but the bonuses in occult make it worth it.
- The fastest way to get this is to zerg with a set party. Don’t join and leave, just make a party and get to all the fates and CEs you can to rush them down. You don’t have to do super well, but you DO need to be there.
Gold
- Farming GOLD is much more annoying, and its needed for THREE jobs!!! Gold is from killing mobs on the open world, not CEs or Fates, so you’ll have to put in some work. MAKE SURE TO KEEP THE CHAIN GOING! (And put on a youtube video)
- Solo: Level up Phantom Cannoneer! You can cycle through your cannon hits and they do a shit ton of damage. What you’ll what to do is be a Tank (preferably WAR or PLD) and rotate thru your cannon abilities while killing mobs around your level. You’ll be able to BLAST them and keep yourself alive.
- NEW FARMING METHOD: 6 TANKS. 2 HEALERS. ALL CANNONEERS. BLAST AWAY.
- Party: It’s MUCH easier to Gold Farm in a party, since the level sync will let you know what your party needs to kill to make progress. My recommendation is 1 tank, 2 healers, 5 dps who have Cannoneer leveled. Between both healers healing the tank and everyone rotating cannon skills, things die super quickly even at level 20+. HOWEVER. I recommend one of the healers be a TIME MAGE with the slow, as the auto attacks do hit the tank hard! You should also have a THIEF (unlocked with gold, ik) to steal from the mobs and get more.
The Forked Tower

Unlock:
To Unlock the Forked Tower you need to do the following;
- Be knowledge Level 20.
- Completed the “Calamity Bound” CE and the associated quest.
- Go to the Antiquarian in the camp and purchase Sanguine Cipher. Do it with Silver.

- Sanguine Ciphers work like the pilot licenses in Cosmic Exploration, meaning that if the instance is full, only 48/72 players will make it in at random. You can buy and submit multiple when the time comes, but you’re not guaranteed to get in! You need a minimum of 16.
- Youll have to wait for the weather to change to
Note that this window is VERY SHORT! (5 minutes). You need to have Sanguine Ciphers on you at all times. Yes, this weather CAN occur during CEs…sometimes you will just miss it. - Once you have the Ciphers and the weather has popped up, youll go directly to the middle of the map towards the building there and OFFER your ciphers.

- I’m focusing VERY little on the general fates. I’ll put their location and name but they’re not really important until I dig through other stuff.
- YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR CEs. Doesn’t matter how hard they are. You’re level 100, you got it! Don’t be the people in my instance and quit. (Some do suck though)
- I hope you like Atma farming. You’ll need 3 of 6 different types to start out. And the drop rate is kinda ass. I have not progressed this yet! But at the time of writing i only have 4 of them…
- The pot fates are just like eureka bunnies!
- The hentai protagonist hair is from chests here.
- If you want to farm GOLD Pieces, you need to get your butt in a party and just start killing mobs.
