PTA Christmas Fair

Hi Everyone,

Welcome back to Term 2. You've probably noticed we are gearing up for our school Christmas Fair on Sunday 24 November at school from 1-4pm.

There will be stalls run by the school community and local businesses so come along for some fun and to get some early Christmas shopping done too!

There will be entertainment from the University Brass Band, various drinks and snacks will be available, Santa's Grotto, festive games and crafts, and we will be drawing our Christmas raffle, with many lovely prizes.

Entry to the Christmas Fair is £3 per adult and we will be selling our Festive Fun Tickets again at £10 each for children to enjoy the class run stalls and games.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year so please support us if you can.

Class Stalls

Keep an eye on your class communications and rotas outside the classrooms over the next few weeks, and volunteer to help run your class stalls for an hour or two.

Donations

This event relies heavily on donations, there will be a non-uniform day for the children on Friday 22 November. In exchange we ask families to donate the following items (on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 November only please)

Bottles for the bottle tombola - anything in a bottle is good for this stall.

Lucky Jars for a tombola style stall - collect empty jars then fill them with sweets, treats, small toys then decorate in a festive way. Please note jars should not contain nut products or unwrapped foods.

Second Hand Toys & Books - please bring in good quality second hand toys and books for our second hand stall. We will also take Christmas pyjamas and Christmas jumpers.

Raffle Tickets

In the next week or so your child will be bringing home two books of raffle tickets These are for you to purchase or sell to friends and family. There will be a more detailed letter sent when the tickets come out with our list of prizes and information on how to enter.

Volunteers

We will need additional volunteers for Friday 22 November from 9am-12pm. This will be to sort through and organise all the donations we receive prior to the fair. If you are able to come along please let us know.
