Body Numbers, Numbers Pick up and Call-up

The ABA will provide race numbers that are yours for the entire CX season. You will get new numbers on race day at License Check if you do not already have them. Please bring your own pins; you’ll need 12.

All riders in all categories get called up at the start.

2 upper arm numbers and 1 body number

*Body number: placed in the middle of your lower back.

Upper arm numbers should be placed facing forward so the officials can see them.

Bikes, Equipment & Rules

Elite Men, Expert Men, and Open Women and Sport Men racers are only permitted to ride cyclocross bikes. Novice Men and Sport Women Racers can use cyclocross or mountain bikes. Competitors must wear an approved helmet at all times while racing and riding around the grounds.

Commissaires ensure only that bikes conform to the Regulations; we accept no liability for the condition of the bike. Also, CCC does not approve helmets. Commissaires ensure that a) the helmet is intended for cycling use; and b) some regulatory body has approved the helmet.

The Course

The course is located in a public park. Please expect people to cross the course during warm-up. Be courteous and slow down. Marshals will direct the public during the race.

The course is subject to change.

Saturday’s course runs counter-clockwise.

Sunday’s course runs clockwise.

Pit Area

The race will have a Pit Area where you can leave spare wheels, bikes, or anything else you might need. Make sure you label your stuff and collect it after your race. The Pit Area is not neutral--if you brought it, you can use it. If you didn’t bring it...sorry. Terrascape or Bicisport will not be held responsible for anything lost or stolen.

Free Kid’s Races

Please register on the day with an online waiver (QR code below):

Beginners will do a shortened loop, and more experienced kids will do the full course. Paper waivers will be available on-site if needed.
