This scholarship is offered to a Henderson County resident enrolled in and pursuing a skilled trade at a qualified trade school, college, or vocational program.

To apply, the student must submit both of the following:

1. A letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor, and
2. A one-page essay explaining what excites you about the skilled trade you are pursuing and what you expect to do with your degree.

This $2,000 scholarship is a one-time award restricted to Henderson County residents enrolled in a skilled trade track in a qualified vocational program. The scholarship recipients must submit a copy of their college/program ID and class schedule or transcript. Funds will be submitted directly to the student’s account at their school.
