JOY CLASS (Just Older Youth)

This is a class for all ages.
We study the bible in the framework of three key questions.
- What was the Spirit trying to say to the original audience?
- What does He want to say to the church today?
- What is he saying to you personally?
No book/video/homework- this is Bible reading.

BYKOTA (Be Ye Kind One To Another)
Leader: Randy Deitrich
This class is a discussion using a study guide called “Genesis to Revelation”. Members read assigned passages of the guide during the week and come prepared to talk through those passages. Contact: rldeitrich@gmail.com

The Growing Christians Sunday School Class
The Growing Christians Sunday School Class has men and women members from a very broad range of eras. We currently have 19 members listed in our address-telephone-email-birthday directory. Several members of the class have been members of Trinity Hill Methodist and this class for many years, but we certainly welcome new members who will sincerely find us all young-at-heart.
We most commonly use books selected by one of the class members, but we have also used movies, television shows, or televised series as our study materials.
For example, we have watched episodes of The Chosen series during the week and then discussed questions prepared by the class leaders on Sunday morning. The reading/watching assignments and discussion questions are sent via e-mail to the class members during the week. The discussions can be quite lively and passionate at times, but always with a healthy dose of respect and good humor. It is common to hear hearty laughter from our class wafting down the hall. However, Bible study is a vital element of each discussion for helping us answer questions and draw conclusions.
Currently, Bob Mahaney, Chuck Martz, Val Pope, and Wayne Sanderson are rotating discussion leaders.
Bible Class
Leader: Lorraine Maw
Class for adults with a love of scripture and a desire to connect, support and share in each other’s lives. During a typical class there is a time for sharing prayer requests and lifting them up to God, followed by reading and discussing a Bible passage. The class ends in prayer. Members keep in touch throughout the week via a text chain sharing celebrations and concerns as they occur.
BELIEVERS CLASS
Leader: Lonnie Watts
This class is like a book club for adults. Attendees read a book independently and then discuss together during Sunday School. At times a quarterly publication is discussed in lieu of a book. The class ends with a time of prayer.

BELOVED SISTERS
Prayers in the bible that can inspire your own. You'll learn that God welcomes your praise, thanksgiving and intercession. You'll see examples of how to pray when you're alone and when gathered with others. Studies will include books of the bible or video series about books of the Bible. A text chain is active for prayer requests etc...
Open to all women
Lead by Anitria Coston who is more of a facilitator and the class helps determine what they will study as they come to the end of a topic.
Upper Room Men’s Group – Led by Bill Partin
This class is like a book club for men. Members read a book independently, usually about two chapters per week and then discuss together during Sunday School. Members help select the book to be studied.
Currently only 4-8 attendees, would love to have more, no secondary leader
Experiencing Jesus – Led by Bob Harmon
Experiencing Jesus is an adult Sunday School class that focuses on study of books of the Bible or Christian based books. The class discusses the meaning of the scripture in the context for which it was written and the application to our everyday life. We open each class with sharing of concerns and celebrations followed by a time of prayer.

This class studies a single book of the Bible offers a deep dive into the text, rather than a broad overview of general topics. Open to all adults.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
The Pastors Bible Class
Meets Wednesdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm
Leader: Aaron Mansfield
Secondary leader: Drew Meadows
A bible study featuring singing hymns, praying for one another and studying the bible. No matter which book of the bible is being looked at the focus is discipleship, obedience to scripture, and listening to the leading of the Spirit. Currently the class is in the book of Mark as a discipleship manual seeking to find out what Jesus is teaching us to do to be disciples. The class meets at 6:30 on Wednesdays downstairs at the church. All ages are welcome.
YAPP (Young Adults Professionals and Parents)
YAPP meets in the Upper Room on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm (not during the Summer). All Young Adults ( and College Students) are welcome to attend this study as we dive into Scripture together and share its application to our lives.

Friday Night Men’s Group: Hosted by Drew Jordan and Lance Jarnagin
This multi-church house group welcomes all young adults. We meet at various places. We will be engaging in Discovery Bible Study, chill worship, and occasional dinner/post-study Waffle House.
Our format:
- High-Low-Buffalo (What was the high of your week? What was the low of your week? What was unexpected about your week?)
- Read Scripture together
- Ask: What is the Spirit saying to you through the scriptures?
- Ask: What is God asking me to do through this Scripture?
- Worship through Song
- Prayer Requests and Praises

This warm and welcoming group meets at the Mansfield residence every Friday at 6:30. Participants in this Discovery Bible Study share
