There’s construction going on there so the boys yell out at the sea. Their fears, their worries, their troubles. They screamed them into the noisy air where it was drowned out. After failing to reach out to the boys, Seokjin finds out that Namjoon is at the detention center, Yoongi commited suicide via fire. Jungkook jumped off a building. Hoseok had an accident that might ruin his dancing career and was hospitalized. And no one knows Jimin’s whereabouts. As he’s leaving the detention center after he visits Namjoon he sees a crowd swarming around Taehyung who’s cuffed. Taehyung has just murdered his father.

Namjoon works in the nearby village as a delivery boy. He salts the snowy roads thinking it’ll ease his next few trips but he has to pass his trips onto a poor boy (ironically named Taehyung) he works with because he has to take his father to the hospital. He hears that the boy died in an accident while out on delivery and that the cause might be the salt.

Tae was caught spray painting and got hit by the store owner. He lays in an abandoned ground pool until Namjoon finds him and lifts him up. [prologue]

Namjoon sees Seokjin pass by without a word at the gas station he works at. Jungkook runs out of the house as his stepbrother harrasses him and distractedly runs into strange men who beat him up. He climbs to a rooftop thinking about how he won’t be missed. Then he gets a call from Yoongi. Taehyung heard that Seokjin has been sent back to the U.S. for the last two years that they haven’t seen each other. As Yoongi, Tae, Jungkook and Hoseok meet up in Namjoon’s container they don’t realize that Seokjin saw them from afar.

Seokjin saves Jungkook and asks him to call Yoongi right away. Yoongi is drunk at a bar and hangs up on him, but Seokjin manages to save him. Yoongi tells Jin off for not letting him die and instead forcing him to stay in this living hell.

The boys visit Hoseok at the hospital but Jimin begs him to not let them know he’s at the hospital too. Seokjin runs into the boys not knowing they were also here, but at least he finds out where Hoseok is.

Taehyung is running from cops after he was caught spray painting again. He hides in Namjoon’s container and spends the night. His ‘dream’ has started changing, He sees Jimin drowning and another version of Jimin hanging onto his other version’s leg. Namjoon notices bruises and scars on Tae but says nothing. He recommends they go see Hoseok at work after Tae tells him about his dreams but a coworker says he’s at the hospital Hoseok is temporarily roomed with Jimin after he hit his head passing out from a narcoleptic episode. Jimin tells him his parents had him hospitalized for nearly 2 years now.

Seokjin runs into Jimin at the hospital. Seokjin sidetracking Jimin means Jimin wasn’t there to save Hoseok from falling off the staircase and drastically hurting his leg as he chased after someone he thought was his mother.

Seokjin wakes up frustrated, but he won’t give up. He makes reminders of sticky notes and attaches them to the dashboard in his car.

Jimin attempts to drown himself in the bath. Seokjin pulls him out and he sobs in Jin’s arms about how he needs to get out. Seokjin breaks them out but as he drives past the arboretum entrance sign Jimin freaks out and jumps out of the car.

Hoseok is caught by Seokjin before he hits his head from passing out. Jin drives him to work and Hoseok asks him about the sticky notes and if everything’s okay. He follows after Seokjin when he’s dropped off and sees him drag Yoongi out of the burning motel. He asks Seokjin “you knew didn’t you”. Hoseok stays in the hospital where they took Yoongi and runs into Jimin. He offers to break Jimin out. The other boys are on board but Jin is hesitant. They end up getting caught by Jimin’s mother who takes him back to his room and berates him, slaps him, and tells him how hard he’s mad her life.

Seokjin realizes inaction has the same consequence. Tae knocks on Jin’s door, telling him he saw him in a dream and ‘knew’ he was back. This time around he successfully breaks Jimin out of the hospital and takes him back to Namjoon’s container where Namjoon offers Jimin a place to stay. Seokjin suggests they go to the beach where they play with sparklers and have a bonfire. [i need u]

Taehyung walks home from the police station and he sees his father pulling his sister by the hair and yelling at her. He remembers all the times as children when his sister protected him from their father’s rage. He smashed an empty beer bottle, ran in, and stabbed his father.

He thinks of how obedient he is now, and how when he was first hospitalized at 8 he had thrown fits. He would cry when the workers refused to open the exit door for him, and begged his mom to take him home, saying “I’m not sick or wrong anymore.” His family cared about their family reputation and would only have him discharged for short periods to send him to a new school.

Hoseok is roomed with Jimin but he doesn’t know till he wakes him up from a nightmare because he was making too much noise. He follows Jimin through every corner of the hospital learning about what landed Jimin here and telling him about his narcolepsy in return. He almost falls down the stairs chasing after a lady who he thought was his mom but Jimin catches him.

Hoseok admits to Jimin that his narcolepsy is fake. He just passes out when he thinks of his mother and being abandoned (he has munchausen’s syndrome - see mama short film).

Hoseok picks up Taehyung from the police station (stigma short film). He drops Tae off by his apartment building but suddenly gets a call from Seokjin telling him to go after Tae and ask him to come along to the beach. Because of this, Hoseok was able to stop Taehyung from killing his father (hence why he’s with Taehyung in euphoria mv).

After that night of the fight JImin decided to not go back to Hoseok’s place, but to go home and face his parents. He also goes over the fact that he never graduated high school. He wants to go back and get his degree but he feels ashamed and embarrassed.

When he was running through the rain with the girl on his back, Hoseok hurt his ankle. It wasn’t severe so he refuses to take a leave from dance and work. While leaving the hospital with the girl he finds that she’s been accepted to a dance program abroad. He realizes he’s going to have to let go of her to, but it won’t be a loss like his mother or auntie.

Hoseok makes plans to throw a party in Namjoon’s container for Jungkook to celebrate his speedy recovery. He tells Jungkook at the hospital but Jungkook is acting weird. He asks him and Jimin if they saw Seokjin after the fight that night, or if Seokjin mentioned seeing Jungkook. This furthers our belief that Seokjin might’ve hit Jungkook with his car that night and doesn’t remember.

Seokjin has to attend a business conference with his father and misses Jungkook’s party. At this meeting though he learns that they’re starting a master plan for construction of a downtown area. Namjoon will be homeless if it goes through. At the party things are tense. Tae is still comfortable facing Namjoon. Hoseok had to leave early for work. Yoongi didn’t show up. The boys part ways awkwardly. Tae heads home to where he hears his father yelling. His sister is apologizing to police and neighbors and reassuring them that everything’s okay. It’s been like this since Tae almost killed his dad. Tae asks his sister about their mother. She says she knows of her whereabouts, and knows that she wants to see him. Tae heads out, planning to confront his mother for leaving them at her new place across town. Jungkook follows him, having been headed the same way anyways, just slower cause his leg is still healing. Tae is annoyed at first, but slowly starts revealing more to Jungkook about his past and mother. They make a quick stop for food but get hassled by some jerks so they run off. Jungkook is sorry that Tae won’t see his mom, blaming himself for it, but Tae just gets upset that someone like Jungkook, who’s never ill-intentioned, beats himself down over everything. He thinks he needs to give himself the same slack.

Yoongi stumbled off to a trail as he thinks about Hoseok’s words. He feels like a hears a broken melody playing and he follows the sound. He thinks about all the times he’s played piano for Jungkook. Those were times he actually loved what he played. He falls asleep in the woodsy area in the rain. At the hospital, Jungkook went to visit the kid after his checkup but she had been transferred or discharged. Jungkook remembers how part of his recovery had to be that he told her all about his hyungs and their time together.

Seokjin finds a bloodstained diary written by his father, full of times he too failed to get his friends back together, alluding to a theory that Seokjin’s father went through similar timeloops but failed and eventually gave up and focused on himself and his future only. Seokjin thinks he needs to go back to admitting that first mess up. That first lie, and first mistake. He needs to admit the wrong in those firsts. He needs to find the map of the soul.

Hoseok had taken leave and skipped town. He helped out a staff that set up and cleaned for a traveling performance crew. He met a stunning teacher there who relit Hoseok’s passion in dance with questions like “what does dance mean to you and what has it done for you?” The break away from work and the boys was much needed. He comes back to town with a healed ankle and a healed soul. He sees a message from Yoongi. It’s a song. It’s no longer him who has to reach out first and make amends. He smiles, and asks the boys to join him for the fireworks show on August 30th.

The boys meet up for the fireworks show, except Seokjin seems to be running late. Taehyung has a bad feeling about it. Meanwhile Seokjin was having a quick meet-up with the girl from the crossroads. He had found the smeraldo flowers and was going to give them to her. His letter is missing so he asks the florists to quickly turn back and bring it. Doing so is what causes the girl’s death, as the florist’s truck hits her as she crosses the road over the Seokjin. Taehyung’s vision came true once more, Seokjin’s heartbroken face, the blue petals, and the bloodstained pavement.. The timeloop restarts…

Seokjin makes sure the boys are busy so Jungkook’s last resort is to head to Yoongi’s workroom. There he and Yoongi get into a fight (run mv) and Yoongi staggers out, heading toward a motel. Seokjin plants a trail of tissues to the motel that Jungkook follows thinking Yoongi dropped them. Jungkook sees Yoongi’s room on fire and rescues him (euphoria mv). Tae witnesses it all.

Jimin reveals the cycle of seizures, therapy, and injections he’s gone through. He’d say to the doctors that he’s sorry, that it’s his fault, that he just wanted to forget it, until he learned to pretend he forgot everything that happened so they’d stop asking.

Hoseok is discharged from the hospital. He sneaks the boys in and sets up a faux-party in the lounge while he gets Jimin (euphoria mv). They break him out of the hospital, and Seokjin drives them away through a route that avoids view of the arboretum). They party in Namjoon’s container (run mv).

Wanting to face his past and his fear, Jimin goes to the Grass Flower Arboretum. He asks Yoongi to go with him.

The boys all head down to the beach together. Seokjin climbs up the observatory, thinking he’s finally done it. Taehyung sees him up there and starts seeing flashbacks of himself on top of the observatory and he feels like he remembers jumping off of it (euphoria versus prologue). He goes to clear his head but overhears Namjoon say “he’s only a year younger he needs to do things for himself” and thinks it’s about him but Namjoon was actually talking to his mother on the phone about his younger brother. Taehyung goes back to face Seokjin while the others are goofing off. He tells Seokjin “you know what they mean don’t you” in regards to his ‘visions’ but Seokjin says they’re just dreams. After dinner, Seokjin is about to tell the boys about what went on back in high school, but Taehyung goes on to expose Seokjin, telling everyone how it was his fault Yoongi was expelled, and that he ran away to the U.S., causing Namjoon to get angry and tell Tae to stop. Tae says “Is that all? Isn’t there something else you’re hiding from us?” (quote at the end of euphoria mv). Namjoon tries to get Tae to back off to which Taehyung tells him “it’s not like you’re my real brother”. Seokjin snaps and punches Taehyung (fight from bs&t jpn mv). After the boys split and head their own ways Jungkook gets hit by a car (possibly Seokjin’s car).

Hoseok calls Seokjin to tell him Jungkook was hit by a car that night after the fight. Him and Jimin had only just found out after overhearing high schoolers mention Jungkook being hospitalized for 20 days. Jungkook cried when he saw his hyungs had come to see him.

Jimin calls Yoongi to tell him about Jungkook’s accident (highlight reel 承) but when Yoongi sees Jungkook looking lifeless at the hospital among zombie-like patients he turns back around, feeling like once again he was the cause of harm to someone he loves. Hoseok goes to Yoongi’s workroom and bangs on the door trying to get him to come to the room but he’s ignored. Yoongi’s thoughts reveal to us that before Yoongi’s mom died, she went on a rage about how she’d be better off if she’d never had Yoongi. His music partner pulls him out of his thoughts as she comes to practice in the music room. She heads to play at the hospital where Jungkook hears her play a familiar song (highlight reel 起 & 承).

Jimin joins the ‘Just Dance’ crew and aims to practice until he can be Hoseok’s equal. He’d record the girl dancing and learn her moves even though he was meant to be her partner not Hoseok’s. They crash while practicing in the dance room and the girl is knocked unconscious. JImin starts bleeding and freaks out, remembering the arboretum again and he rushes to scrub himself clean while Hoseok carries the girl on his back and rushes to the hospital through the rain. Jimin comes out to follow them with an umbrella but he’s too late, too far behind (highlight reel 轉).

Taehyung and the runaway teen are chased by police after they get caught spray-painting. They hide in an alleyway but Tae thinks of how he sees a lost version of himself in the girl and decides to show her that sometimes you have to face the world and your consequences head on and surrenders to the police (highlight reel 轉).

The doctor warns Hoseok that he could permanently hurt his ankle and ruin his future if he keeps working and dancing so Hoseok takes a leave. While walking he sees a drunk Yoongi on the other side of the road. Hoseok thinks of how he’s tried his best to be a reliable person to Yoongi since his mother died back in middle school, but he always felt brushed off. He thought Jungkook was different. That Yoongi knew his worth to Jungkook and vice versa. It makes him mad and he finally snaps. He crosses over to Yoongi and lets it all out. About how Yoongi is in his own way despite being surrounded by people who want to help him. “Why didn't you go see Jungkook? Don't you know what you mean to him? DON’T YOU KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN TO HIM? Don’t you see we're all hurting too? Don't you see that?!" He tells Yoongi to either stop running away, or never come back.

After dance practice, Jimin can’t seem to find Hoseok anywhere. Not in the practice room. Not at work. He sends a message in the groupchat asking Hoseok where he’s gone but he doesn’t answer, very uncharacteristic of him. Yoongi sees Jimin’s message and feels like it’s him who’s pushed Hoseok away, because Hoseok was always the smiley one who’d make them feel better and come back together.

Taehyung walks in on his sister crying and his father raging. He doesn’t kill him, instead he holds him back, grabbing his dad around his waist as he reigns down punches on Tae’s back. Taehyung thinks to himself that he won’t become his father. He won’t “inherit the violent gene”. He’s going to protect his family.

(This happened before Jin found his father’s journal, we don’t know when though, he didn’t write about this until August 15th so…) Seokjin had visited Jungkook at the hospital but he was tense and awkward around Jin so they didn’t talk much. Seokjin left the hospital and waited at the train crossing. There he saw the beautiful girl as she rushed past him, dropping her notebook on accident. He read the notebook filled with her dreams and wants like finding the mythical smeraldo flower and he believes that if he becomes this perfect boyfriend and make her wishes come true, he’ll achieve his dream of being a Good Person.
