Dear State Historic Preservation Office,

I’m writing to share my support of preserving Firestone Plant One in Akron.  I’m concerned that the City of Akron has not fully explored all the possibilities of adaptive reuse and remains intent on demolition without doing the due diligence that this historic Akron landmark deserves.  As demolition is irrevocable, the Akron community deserves a full hearing.  Demolition of the building should only be the absolute last resort.
