Jehovah’s Witnesses, Who are we? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share an interesting message.
Have you ever wondered, Who are Jehovah’s Witnesses?
We come from hundreds of ethnic and language backgrounds, and yet, we all share common beliefs and goals.
We worship Jehovah, the writer of the Bible and the creator of all things.
We are Christians, so we follow the teachings and example of Christ and strive to be honest, peaceful, law abiding citizens. We also follow his example of regularly spending time helping others learn about the Bible.
We welcome all to visit us. Our meetings are free and open to the public. I have enclosed an invitation to a local kingdom hall. You can also visit www.jw.org for more locations and times. On our website you will also find encouraging thoughts from the Bible and more about our beliefs.

Political Neutrality - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share an interesting message.
Have you ever wondered: why do Jehovah's Witnesses maintain political neutrality?
Jehovah’s Witnesses remain politically neutral for religious reasons, based on what the Bible teaches. We follow the example of Jesus, who refused to accept political office. (John 6:15) He taught his disciples to be “no part of the world” and made it clear that they should not take sides in political issues.
Although we do not take part in politics, we respect the authority of the governments under which we live. We obey the law, pay taxes, and cooperate with efforts of the government to provide for the welfare of its citizens.

Does God Notice You? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting thought from the scriptures.
In today's troubled world some may think, with all the billions of people on the planet, does God notice me personally?
Jesus Christ, who knows the Creator better than anyone else, taught us at Matthew 10:29-31 “Two sparrows sell for a coin of small value, do they not? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. So have no fear; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
You can rest assured that God is keenly interested in our welfare and watches over us with loving concern.

At Romans 12:12 it says “Rejoice in the hope. Endure under tribulation. Persevere in prayer”
Our relationship with God helps us in times of trouble. There is no trial that can distance us from Him or separate us from His love. When we are feeling distressed we can pour out our concerns to Jehovah and be confident that he will hear us and strengthen us to endure with joy.

Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting thought from the scriptures.
In today's troubled world anxiety is common and many find dealing with it extremely difficult.

Anxiety 2 - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting thought from the scriptures.
Some people believe that anxiety and stress are part of the human condition and cannot be relieved. What do you think?
The Bible tells us that even when you feel like you have no one to turn to, you can always turn to God and he will be there to help. By prayer, you can gain “the peace of God,” which can help alleviate anxiety. (Philippians 4:6, 7)

Anxiety 3 - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting thought from the scriptures.
Matthew 6:34 says “Never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties. Each day has enough of its own troubles.”
When Jesus spoke these words, he did not mean that we should avoid thinking about tomorrow or planning for our future. He was assuring his listeners that they would not need to be overly worried, or unduly anxious, about future problems. Instead, they would benefit from taking life’s problems one day at a time.
Such anxiety could rob us of joy and distract us from the tasks at hand. We cannot solve future problems by worrying about them today. And what we worry about often fails to happen or does not turn out as bad as we thought.

Isaiah 41:10 (Comfort)
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting thought from the scriptures.
Isaiah 41:10 says “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.”
Notice the phrase “I am with you.” Jehovah God gives his worshippers a reason why they should not be afraid—they are not alone. Because he sees what they go through and he hears their prayers, it is as though he were right there with them.

Isaiah 41:10 says “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.”
Notice the phrase “I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.” Using three phrases to convey one thought, Jehovah God emphasizes the certainty of his support. He uses a word picture to convey how he reacts when his people need help. If someone falls, God can extend his right hand to pull him up.

Friends with God - Scripture Only Template
Dear ________________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
Many today may believe that we could never know God at all because he is completely incomprehensible.
That is not the case. He invites us to draw close to him and develop a personal friendship with him at James 4:8. What an amazing opportunity! The first step in developing this friendship, as in any friendship, is to learn his name.
A Psalms 83:18 we learn “May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth”
You may wonder, what is God like? Does He care for us? And how can we draw close to Him? To answer these questions and more, download a free copy of the brochure entitled Enjoy Life Forever at www.jw.org.

Does God Have a Name? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ________________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
Have you ever wondered if God had a personal name? The Bible actually mentions the names of many gods. But did you know that there is one name that is used more frequently than any of the others, though it has been removed from many translations?
The first part of the Bible was originally written in Hebrew. In the original text God’s name translates to YHWH and in English it’s translated to Jehovah. We can read that in Psalms 83:18.
Just as a man can have many appropriate titles and a unique and personal name, God does too. Since Jehovah’s name is used more than 7,000 times in the Bible we know that he wants us to know and use it.
You may wonder, what is God like? Does He care for us? And how can we draw close to Him? To answer these questions and more, download a free copy of the brochure entitled Enjoy Life Forever at www.jw.org.

Does God Exist? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique message.
Many today do not know whether or not to believe in the existence of a god. Do you believe that God exists?
The Bible provides compelling evidence that God exists. It encourages us to build faith in God, not by blindly believing religious assertions, but by using our own power of reason and mental perception. Let us consider a point of reasoning from the Bible.
When you see a house, do you think it must have just appeared all on its own? Of course not. Someone had to build it. In the same way, the existence of an orderly universe containing life points to a Creator. At Hebrews 3:4 the Bible says “Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but the one who constructed all things is God.”

What is God like? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique message.
Have you ever wondered what God is like?
Since no human has ever seen God because he is a Spirit, you may have never thought of him having his own personality. Nevertheless, we can discern God’s personality from the things he has made. For example, the variety of fruits and flowers tells us of his love and wisdom. (Romans 1:20) By reading the Bible we can learn what God likes and what he does not like, how he treats people, and how he reacts in different situations.

Can You Find God? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ________________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
Many today may believe that we could never know God at all because he is completely incomprehensible.
The Bible frankly acknowledges that there are some things about God that are difficult for humans to understand, but just because we cannot fully comprehend certain aspects of God does not mean that we cannot get to know him at all.
By reading the Bible, we see that it portrays a clear picture of Jehovah God. He is far from being incomprehensible. In fact, the Creator wants you to get to know him. There is a promise in the Bible at 1 Chronicles 28:9 “If you search for him, he will let himself be found by you.”
You may wonder, how will it benefit me to draw close to God? What is God like? Does He care for us? To answer these questions and more, please visit www.jw.org.

Is God a Trinity? - Scripture Only Template
Dear __________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique message with you.
Many Christian denominations teach that God is a Trinity. If we look in the Bible though, God is never described as being part of a Trinity.
Note these Bible passages:
“Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.”— Deuteronomy 6:4.
“This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”— John 17:3.

Prayer - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique scriptural thought.
How do you view prayer? The Bible can help you to view prayer, not as a feel-good therapy, but as a precious means to draw close to God.
Although the Bible says that Jehovah God knows everything, it also shows that He is keenly interested in our innermost thoughts because he wants us to draw closer to him. That is why Jesus encouraged his followers to pray (Matthew 6:6-8). The more we share our thoughts with our Creator, the more we will draw close to him.

Will God Help me if I Pray? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique and comforting scriptural thought.
Have you ever wondered, will God help me if I pray?
The answer is yes. God listens to all who come to him with the right attitude, even if you haven’t prayed before.
You need not fear that God is so distant that he is not concerned with your problems. At Psalms 138:6 the Bible says: “Jehovah is high, and yet the humble one he sees; but the lofty one he knows only from a distance.” God observes details about you that even you are not aware of. How much more, then, will he listen if you pray for his help with your anxieties!

The answer is yes. God listens to all who come to him with the right attitude, even if you haven’t prayed before.
There is real value in prayer, it is not a psychological crutch; it is real communication with Jehovah God, who, as stated at Psalm 34:18, is “close to the brokenhearted; [and] saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Stress - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting thought from the scriptures.
Everyone is affected by stress in some way. Learning how to deal with it can be important for both your physical and mental wellbeing.
Stress in itself is not necessarily harmful. The issue, really, is how to manage it. For good reason, the Bible says: “Never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties.” (Matthew 6:34.) Continually focusing on worst-case scenarios does little more than drain you emotionally. And what you fear may not happen!
A genuine hope and the wisdom to cope with life’s many stresses can be found in the pages of the Bible. Millions have already benefited from this remarkable and unique book. You can too.

Depression - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting thought from the scriptures.
Everyone feels down now and then. However, some people experience profoundly negative emotions, at times accompanied by feelings of worthlessness and inordinate guilt.
Psalm 34:18 says “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.”
You cannot always control your circumstances, and bad things are bound to affect you at times. You can, however, develop a practical strategy so that negative feelings do not dominate your life. The Bible also emphasizes the value of prayer. Prayer is not a psychological crutch; it is real communication with Jehovah God. He is ready and willing to help you.

Forgiveness - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique thought.
Everyone tries to have a peaceful life, but arguments arise. When this happens, are you prepared to forgive?
Forgiveness is the act of pardoning an offender. In the Bible, the Greek word translated “forgiveness” literally means “to let go,” as when a person does not demand payment for a debt. Sometimes forgiveness means that you simply need to let go of a matter, for your own well-being and that of your family.

What Is the Meaning of Life? - Template.
Dear___________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
You may wonder - What is the meaning of life?
The Bible shows that our purpose in life is to build a friendship with God.
God created us with a “spiritual need,” which includes the desire to find meaning in life and He wants us to satisfy that desire (Matthew 5:3).
We fill our spiritual needs by building a friendship with God. Although the idea of being God’s friend might seem far-fetched to some, the Bible tells us at James 4:8; 2:23 “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.”

Why question evolution? - Template.
Dear___________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
Many people today wonder how life came to be. Knowing how life came about can be an important step to knowing why.
Today it is taught that creation is a myth and that evolution is a fact. Consider this; scientists don’t agree on evolution. Despite decades of research, they have yet to come up with an explanation for evolution that they all can agree on. If scientists can’t agree on evolution—and they’re supposed to be the experts—are you wrong to question the theory?
If you take the time to look, you can see that in the natural world there is compelling evidence that points to creation. Investigate for yourself.

Did you know that although the Bible is not a science textbook, it is accurate when it mentions matters of science.

Reasons to trust the Bible - Science - Template.
Dear___________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
Many may wonder if you can trust the Bible, afterall, it’s an old book. Although written long ago, the Bible's passages are remarkably modern and scientifically sound.
Some 3,500 years ago, the Bible stated that the earth is hanging “upon nothing.” (Job 26:7) This scripture shows that the earth is suspended in empty space, even when many ancient peoples believed that the world was a flat disk supported by a giant or an animal.
Even though it is an ancient book and touches on many subjects, the Bible contains no scientific inaccuracies. Does not such a book merit our consideration?

Reasons to trust the Bible 2 - Science - Template.
Dear___________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
You may wonder, why should I trust and believe in the Bible?
The Bible is unique because it gives evidence of being inspired by Jehovah himself.
2 Tim 3:16 tells us “All scriptures inspired of God”
Furthermore, it has been proven accurate when it comes to matters of science. Job 36:27 says ”He draws up the drops of water; They condense into rain from his mist; Then the clouds pour it down; They shower down upon mankind” This scripture accurately described the water cycle long before scientists understood it.
Although written long ago, the Bible's passages are remarkably modern and scientifically sound. Even though it is an ancient book and touches on many subjects, the Bible contains no scientific inaccuracies. Does not such a book merit our consideration? What Does the Bible Promise for the Future? - Scripture Only Template
Dear __________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique message with you.
Due to the constant threat of war, natural disasters, and economic instability, many have wondered if it is still practical to be hopeful about the future. However, the Bible provides us with good reasons for why we can be hopeful about the future.
At Psalm 37:11, the Bible states, “The meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” God promises that he will change the world for the better so that we can all enjoy a happy future!

What is God’s Purpose for the Earth? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share an encouraging message.
When looking at the world around you, have you ever considered why we are here? Or possibly you may have thought, “Is this what God purposed for me and the rest of mankind?”
At Genesis 1:28, it states, “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it.” God wants the earth to be filled with happy, healthy people. But God’s original purpose of an earthly paradise is in stark contrast from what we see today.
However, God promises that he will restore the earth to its original glory and ensures that he will provide mankind with many blessings (Psalm 37:29).

God’s Kingdom - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share an interesting thought from the Bible.
In your opinion, what is the Kingdom of God?
In the Bible at Daniel 2:44 we read “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever”
From this we learn that God’s Kingdom is a kingdom in heaven that will soon put an end to all other governments and will last forever, allowing us as humans to enjoy the best rulership we have ever known.

World Peace—Why So Elusive? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share an interesting thought from the Bible.
In today’s world conditions we are under the constant threat of war and disaster. Government leaders, even those with the best motives, can’t devise lasting solutions for the root causes of war. Human efforts to bring world peace have failed and will continue to fail.
Jeremiah 10:23 tells us “It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.” Humans weren’t created with the ability or the right to rule themselves, so they won’t be able to achieve enduring peace.
God’s Kingdom, not any human government, is the only solution that will satisfy our desire for permanent world peace.

Things That Money Cannot Buy - Scripture Only Template
Dear ___________,

Having a lot of money can get you many things, however, money cannot buy the things that are truly important such as family unity, genuine security, and personal contentment.
The Bible tells us at Luke 12:15 “Even when a person has an abundance his life does not result from the things he possesses.” There is more to life than money and the things it can buy. After all, money can be stolen — and it cannot cure disease or prevent death.

Why Read the Bible? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ________________,

Do you find the Bible to be just an outdated book of stories?
The Bible can be likened to a well-written instruction manual. It is a manual for human life that God, the manufacturer, as it were, has made available to us, the users.
The Bible alerts readers to practices that may compromise the safe and reliable operation of the “product”—our life.

Who Controls the World? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique message.
When we look around the world today, we see that many are suffering due to disease, food shortages, natural disasters, and war. Many can’t help but wonder who or what is causing the problems that we see across the globe. The Bible reveals that Satan the Devil is in control of the world (1 John 5:19).
However, there is hope for all, as God’s Word explains that God is determined to bring Satan’s control over mankind to an end. At Hebrews 2:14, it states that God will “bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil”.
The Bible explains how and when God will undo all of the damage that Satan has caused, why we can trust this promise, and what the world will be like after its ruler is removed.

Death - Scripture Only Template
Dear ___________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique and comforting Bible message.
One of the saddest things someone can experience is the death of a loved one. Do you think the dead can ever live again?
The Bible often compares death to sleep (Psalms 13:3) Just as a person who is asleep is unaware of what is happening around him, the dead are not conscious of anything.
There is a promise of hope in the Bible. It teaches that God can awaken the dead as if from sleep and give them life again. At Acts 24:15 it says “There is going to be a resurrection.”.
The Bible offers much needed comfort for those who are grieving and explains God’s promise of bringing the dead back to life.

Why Do People Die? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ___________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique and comforting Bible message.
It’s natural to wonder why people die, especially when we lose someone close to us.
The first humans, Adam and Eve, lost their lives because they sinned against God. Death was the only possible outcome of their rebellion against God.
Adam passed on the defect of sin to all his descendants. The Bible says: “Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” (Romans 5:12) All people die because they all sin.
God promises a time when “he will actually swallow up death forever.” (Isaiah 25:8) To remove death, he must eliminate its root cause, which is sin. God will do this through Jesus Christ.

Tragedy - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting thought from the scriptures.
Tragedy can affect anyone, young and old.
A scripture you may find encouraging is 2 Corinthians 4:17, 18. It says: “Though the tribulation is momentary and light, it works out for us a glory that is of more and more surpassing greatness and is everlasting; while we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting.”
That last verse was powerful to me. Suffering is temporary, but what God promises for the future is everlasting.

Tragedy 2 - Scripture Only Template
Dear ____________,
I am writing to you today to share a comforting scriptural thought.
Have you ever encountered a trial that seemed unbearable? 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 brings out that God is able to comfort us through any trial. He promises to give you “the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.”
If you do encounter an unexpected trial do not be afraid to express your emotions. Remember that even Jesus “gave way to tears.” Getting enough rest and sleep is also important. This will make it easier to cope with a distressing situation.
Even if you feel overwhelmed, keep your mind focused on God. During his trials, Job said: “Let the name of Jehovah continue to be praised.” (Job 1:21, 22) Like Job, place Jehovah’s name and his will above your own worries. When matters do not turn out as you wish they would have, do not give up hope. Trust God completely. “‘I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.’” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Does God Cause our Suffering? - Scripture only template
Dear __________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
Today it seems as if world conditions are only getting worse. Many wonder if God is causing our problems and if suffering will ever end.
To answer this question, let’s look in the Bible at James 1:13. There we read “When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone.”
It would be out of character for God to be responsible for the misery inflicted on innocent people. God is loving and just. He would never cause us pain.

An End To War And Violence - Scripture only template
Dear __________,
I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share a thought from the Bible that’s been really comforting to me lately.
There’s so much war and violence in the news, and honestly, it can feel overwhelming. So many people are hurting, and sometimes it seems like there’s no end in sight.
But God promises that peace is coming — real, lasting peace. Psalm 72:7 says: “In his days the righteous will flourish, and peace will abound.” That’s not just wishful thinking; it’s a promise that all this pain and fighting will one day be gone.
Knowing that God sees what’s happening and has a plan to fix it has given me a lot of peace of mind. I hope it can do the same for you.

An End To War And Violence - Scripture only template
Dear ____________,
I’ve been thinking about what’s happening in the world lately, and I wanted to share a Bible verse that gives me a lot of hope.
It feels like every time we turn on the TV or scroll through our feeds, there’s another story about war or violence. It’s heartbreaking to see so much suffering.
But God promises that it won’t last forever. Revelation 21:4 says: “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” Imagine a world where no one cries from loss or pain — where peace is all anyone knows.
That’s what God has in store, and knowing that helps me feel calmer when things look dark. I hope it helps you feel that way too.

What is Hell?- Scripture Only Template
Dear ___________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique and comforting Bible message.
Some Bible translations use the word “hell” for the Hebrew word “Sheol” and the matching Greek word “Hades,” both of which refer to the common grave of mankind. (Psalm 16:10; Acts 2:27) Many people believe in a fiery hell, however, the Bible teaches otherwise.
The Bible teaches that the dead are conscious of nothing. They do not go somewhere to be tortured after dying.
Eternal torment would violate God’s justice. When the first man, Adam, sinned, God told him that his punishment would simply be to pass out of existence: “Dust you are and to dust you will return.” (Genesis 3:19) God would have been lying if he were actually sending Adam to a fiery hell. God does not lie.

Who goes to Heaven? - Scripture Only Template
Dear ___________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique and comforting Bible message.
Have you ever wondered, Who goes to heaven?
God selects a limited number of faithful Christians who, after their death, will be resurrected to life in heaven. (1 Peter 1:3, 4) Those selected serve alongside Jesus as kings and priests.
The Bible indicates at Revelation 7:4 that 144,000 people will be resurrected to heavenly life. Those “who are called and chosen” to rule with Christ in the Kingdom are referred to as a “little flock.” This shows that they would be relatively few in comparison with the complete number of Jesus’ sheep.
All others have a different hope. At Psalms 37:11, 29, & 34 we read that God promises everlasting life on a paradise earth for most good people.

Does the Bible comment on Abortion? - Scripture Only Template
Dear __________,
I am writing to you today to share a unique Bible message.
In your opinion, is abortion a personal choice or a question of morality?
Life is sacred to God, and he views even an embryo as a distinct, living being. God stated at Exodus 21: 22, 23 that a person would be called to account for injuring an unborn child. So, in his eyes, killing an unborn child is murder.
What, though, if an emergency situation at the time of childbirth forces a couple to choose between letting the mother live and the baby die or vice versa? In that case, the couple would have to decide which life to try to save.

They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full.”

Jehovah God - James 4:8a
Dear ____________,
I hope that this letter finds you and your family doing well. In light of current events, I am unable to visit you personally, so I am writing to you today to share an interesting message from the scriptures. Many people who believe in God would like to feel closer to him. Did you know that the Bible invites us to draw close to him?
James 4:8a “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you” How encouraging to know that our Heavenly Father wants to be close to us when we take steps to get closer to Him. We can do this by regularly communicating through frequent prayers to God. And since being a friend is a two-way process, we allow God to talk to us when we read the Bible and meditate on it.

Jehovah God (Ver. 2) - Psalm 83:18
Dear ____________,
I hope that this letter finds you and your family doing well. In light of current events, I am unable to visit you personally, so I am writing to you today to share an interesting message from the scriptures. Many people pray for God’s name to be sanctified, or hallowed. Have you ever wondered what that name is?
At Psalm 83:18 it says “May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.” Just as you learn a person’s name to become their friend, God wants us to know and use his personal name. So much so, that the name Jehovah appears in the Bible more than 7,000 times. His divine name means “He Causes to Become,” implying that Jehovah causes himself to become whatever he needs to be in order to accomplish his purposes.

In the Bible at 2 Timothy 3:1, it refers to the days we are living in as “The last days.” Many people have heard this term used before, but are not sure what it means. The Bible assures us at Proverbs 2:21, 22, that it is not the last days of humankind, nor the last days of the earth; instead, these are the last days of this violent, loveless system of things and those who cling to its ways.

Psalms 119:105 assures us where we can find a reliable guide for the future, where it says “Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path.” The Bible not only contains many accurate prophecies about the future, but it also explains why much suffering exists today.

Looking at the world conditions today, many people wonder where the world is heading. We live in a world filled with crime, violence and war, yet, there is good reason for hope. The Bible promises that God’s Kingdom will bring lasting changes, turning the Earth into a Paradise and removing wickedness forever. Another blessing under this kingdom is found at Isaiah 11:6-9 which says in part, “The wolf will reside for a while with the lamb, and with the young goat the leopard will lie down… and a little boy will lead them.” So there will soon be peaceful conditions between all those who reside on the Earth.

When was Jesus Born - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share an interesting Bible message.
Did you know that the Bible does not give a specific answer to the question when was Jesus born? What the Bible does provide are events surrounding his birth that have led many to conclude that he was not born on December 25 or even in the winter time.
The first event is Caesar Augustus issuing a decree ordering “all the inhabited earth to be registered.” Everyone had to register in “his own city,” which might have required a journey of a week or more. This would most likely not have happened in the winter time since many would be unwilling to make a trip during that time.
The next are the shepherds that came to visit Jesus. They would not have been out in the fields during the winter time, it would have been too cold.
We can estimate when Jesus was born by counting backward from his death on Passover, Nisan 14 in the spring of the year 33 C.E. (John 19:14-16) Jesus was about 30 years old when he began his three-and-a-half-year ministry, so he was born in the early fall of 2 B.C.E.—Luke 3:23

Christmas - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share an interesting Bible message.
Have you ever wondered why Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t celebrate Christmas?
A main reason is that Jesus commanded that we commemorate his death, not his birth. (Luke 22:19, 20) Furthermore, There is no proof that Jesus was born on December 25; his birth date is not recorded in the Bible.
Although we choose not to celebrate Christmas ourselves, we respect each person’s right to decide for himself in this matter.

Easter - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share an interesting Bible message.
Did you know that the celebration of Easter is not based on the Bible. If you look into its history, though, you will see the true meaning of Easter—it is a tradition based on ancient fertility rites.
The American Book of Days well describes the origin of Easter: “There is no doubt that the Church in its early days adopted the old pagan customs and gave a Christian meaning to them.”
The Bible warns against worshiping God by following traditions or customs that displease him. 2 Corinthians 6:17 states: “‘Separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing.’” Easter is a pagan holiday that those who want to please God will avoid.

Halloween - Scripture Only Template
Dear ______________,
I am writing to you today to share an interesting Bible message.
The Bible does not mention Halloween. However, both the ancient origins of Halloween and its modern customs show it to be a celebration based on false beliefs about the dead and invisible spirits, or demons.
The Bible warns at Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that “There must never be anyone among you who . . . consults ghosts or spirits, or calls up the dead.” While some view Halloween as harmless fun, the Bible indicates that the practices associated with it are not. At 1 Corinthians 10:20, 21, the Bible says: “I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too.”

Amid the COVID - 19 pandemic, we all need some comfort and hope. I am writing to you today to share a positive message from the Bible.
Many wonder if God is causing our problems and if suffering will ever end.
Not only does the Bible assure us that God does not cause our problems (James 1:13) but it also offers hope with a promise from God at Revelation 21:3,4. There we learn that He will do away with all pain and suffering.

How to Beat Pandemic Fatigue
Dear ______________,
Amid the COVID - 19 pandemic, we are all beginning to feel worn down. If you are experiencing what is being called pandemic fatigue, take courage. The Bible is helping many to cope with life during this stressful time. It can help you too.
One thing that may help is to stick to a routine. At 1 Corinthians 14:40 it says “Let all things take place . . . by arrangement.”
You can do this by making a schedule that reflects your current situation. Set aside specific times for all that must be done and include other activities such as being outdoors and exercising.
This is important as many people tend to feel more settled and happier when they have a general routine.
For more information on this and to find more encouraging thoughts please feel free to visit www.jw.org. To contact me, send me an email at ___________________________.

The Bible shows why these conditions exist today …

Also the lowly one and whoever has no helper.

And their blood will be precious in his eyes.”
