Guide Overview
We want to make it easy for you to know who to reach out to when you have a question. For anything related to your child’s classroom, please start by emailing the teacher. All school staff will respond in 48 hours.

For discipline-related questions, please reach out to your child’s grade-level assistant principal, who is ready to provide support and guidance. For instructional questions or concerns, we encourage you to first connect with your child’s teacher. If additional support is needed, our content administrators are happy to assist.

Who do I reach out to if my student is struggling academically in class? | The first person is the teacher. If the issue is not resolved or you need additional support, the content administrator should be contacted. If you need additional support after that, please email Dr. Mitchell. |
Who do I reach out to if teachers are not following my student’s accommodations? | For 504 issues, please contact Ms. Jenna Robinson. For IEP issues, please contact your student’s case manager. If you need additional support, please contact one of our Exceptional Education Lead Teachers, Kayla Baker or Fatma Ramadan. |
Who do I reach out to if there is a question about my student’s schedule? | The grade level counselor can assist you. If you are trying to make a schedule change, the counselor will direct you to the content administrator. |
Who do I reach out to if my student is having challenges with another student? | Please email the grade level administrator. |
Who do I reach out to if I believe that my student should be taking a more advanced course? | Please email the content administrator. |
Who do I reach out to with questions about athletics? | General athletics questions should be directed to the athletics director. He will involve the coach if it is necessary. |
Who do I reach out to if I have a question about residency? | Mr. Banks is our residency officer. He can be reached at 404.802.4758. |
Who do I reach out to if I have a question about senior information? | If the question is about graduation, please email our 12th grade class sponsors, Jenna Robinson and Andronica Nkosi. Who do I reach out to if my student needs help with a college application, FAFSA or scholarships? | Contact one of the college advisers in the College and Career Center. www.nahscollege.org |
Who do I reach out to for student records, change of address or phone number, withdrawals, and any other registration concern? | Please contact Alexander Lopez first. If unable to reach him you can contact the registrar (Susie Jones) or the administrator that works with the registrar's office (Yvette Yisrael). |

Who do you report North Atlanta facility concerns? | Mr. Barnes is the assistant principal who works with facilities. If there is an issue, please report it to him. |
Who are the School Resource Officers (SROs)? | They are Kyle Stephens, Jeanelle Nicolas, and Thyrecia Oden. |
Where do I go to get a work permit? | Please visit Xavier Smith in the new vestibule. |
Where do I get my ADAP card? | Please have your student ask their Health teacher. If they are not taking Health, they can see Coach Amos in the gym. |
