FREE MEALS AVAILABLE TODAY (9/2):
Music club @thehowlinwolfnola has quickly transformed into a hub for community feeding, taking in food from restaurants that need to empty their kitchens in the #ida blackout. 2,000 free meals yesterday, working for 3,000 today. That’s the @cochonbutchernola smoker next to the shrimp boiling pot and a bar filled with bread and fresh ingredients.
They need outdoor grills and more chefs and other volunteers.

Mental Health
Ochsner offers free counseling through Sept. 6 for Hurricane Ida victims via ochsner.org/anywhere with the code IDATherapy, or with the code IDA for visits booked via its urgent care platform.
The Disaster Distress Helpline (1-800-985-5990) provides 24/7 counseling to people coping with crises due to Hurricane Ida.
