  • Jan minutes approved
  • Streets and safety update
  • Dave has met with MPD and Chief King re; camera placements for Campo
  • 6-7 license plate readers in place around Moraga BUT not with proximity to our neighborhood
  • More tech equipment is needed to map add’l cameras which might not be on the roadmap
  • We could pay a fee from HOA to the MPD for them to review footage
  • We would need homeowner permission for individual properties; also want to investigate use of
  • Cameras serve 2 purposes: Deterrent and investigative footage
  • Flock is the camera provider for ~$3k/year
  • Opportunity to post best practices for home safety and protection to the website
  • Discovery of traffic calming options for Campolindo Dr and the Pool
  • Option 1: Bump out – configuration would be new for Moraga
  • Option 2: Paint the crosswalk area red and eliminate parking options - city would paint it and doesn’t require studies or town permission
  • Need community feedback on the elimination of 6 parking spots
  • Option 3: Other bumpouts with poured concrete
  • Option 4: Center aisle construction
  • Proposal: Curb painting and bump-out with bollards
  • Town public works will be repaving in Campo this summer so ideally we will be included in that work
  • Town of Moraga General Plan update: The purpose of the General Plan is to modernize the Town’s long-range plans and development regulations so that they comply with State laws, reflect community priorities and values, and effectively guide Moraga’s future growth in a consistent, objective manner.

  • Long-term planning would require specific planning design and budgeting for pool replacement
  • Reserve study will not be sufficient for how to plan for pool replacement
