Preliminary Ideas to Consider

  1. Assess your understanding of each unit (use reflection, former assessment scores, and teacher feedback)

  1. Consider the following factors:

The % of each topic on the exam, older topics may need more review even if they weren’t necessarily more difficult, topics often intertwine, Free Response and Multiple Choice hold equal weight, so don’t spend an overabundance of time practicing one type of question.

  1. Prioritize practice over studying content although both are important. Do a lot of your content review early on, and then spend a lot of time practicing questions in test-like scenarios (difficulty, time constraints, etc.)

  1. The AP tests deep content knowledge, so make sure you know the “why” of each idea.  Don’t waste time on things such as quick “plug and chug”
