Norton Commons Businesses to Participate in “For the Love of Local” Sale on February 7
Independent shopping, dining, and services hub is Louisville’s destination for gifts and experiences for that special someone
PROSPECT, Ky. — Home to more than 100 businesses, most independently owned, Norton Commons has become one of Kentucky’s most distinctive neighborhoods for local shopping, dining, and services. On Saturday, February 7, Norton Commons will host its annual “For the Love of Local” sale, with participating businesses offering special promotions, curated gifts, and seasonal offerings throughout the community.
The one-day event highlights the neighborhood’s locally owned retailers and restaurants and provides shoppers with an opportunity to support independent businesses while finding unique gifts and experiences ahead of Valentine’s Day.
There are 20 establishments participating.
“For the Love of Local is such a great snapshot of what makes Norton Commons, well, Norton Commons,” said Sarah Pritts, marketing director for Norton Commons. “You can grab balloon décor from Ballou’s, a bouquet from Blume Florist, a dinner deal from Rugby Scott, cozy gift boxes from Taylor Lee Comfort, a sport coat from Crittenden Rawlings, and something fun to wear from Spark, all just steps from each other. It’s walkable, it’s charming, and it’s built around supporting small businesses. That’s the magic.”
The sale will take place throughout the North and South Village Town Centers.
Norton Commons continues to grow as a destination for local shopping and dining, offering walkable town center environments that bring together boutiques, restaurants, services, and community events throughout the year.
