Freedom! Privacy Policy

Last modified Feb 2, 2024

Overview

Holding your private information is a serious responsibility, and we want you to know how we’re handling it. In summary, we only collect information necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interactions with us, and where you’ve provided (a) consent, or (b) the information directly to us. We don’t sell it to third parties, and we only use it as this Privacy Policy describes. Please carefully read the full policy details below; if you are not in agreement with them, please do not install or use our products or services.

Freedom! Family Limited (the “Company”) owns, licenses, and/or operates games (individually a “Game”, and collectively the “Games”) and the following websites (individually a “Site”, and collectively the “Sites”):

By using any Site or Game, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy. For Sites that access or use YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and are encouraged to review the Google Privacy Policy. For Games that access or use Unity, you agree to be bound by Unity’s Privacy Policy. For Games downloaded from the Google Play App Store or the Apple App Store, you are subject to their respective privacy policies.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act) applicability

None of our Games or Sites are designed or intended for, and we do not specifically market to, children under the age of 13 years old.

What information we collect and why

If you're just browsing a Site, whether you have an account or not, we use common internet technologies, such as cookies and web server logs, to collect basic information about all Site visitors including the visitor’s browser type, language preference, referring site, additional websites requested, and the date and time of each visitor request. We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. This is needed to better understand our Site traffic, and to monitor and protect the security of the Sites.

If you create an account on, or download applications from, our Sites, we will ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, which could include your name, username, email address, postal address, Skype and other contact details, whether you are of legal age, your payment preferences, your feedback, and other details. Information related to your computer will be recorded if you use any software from our Sites.

For Sites that use YouTube API Services, the user information that is collected, stored, or otherwise used, includes profile, email, channel and video metadata, and channel analytics. This information is needed to determine what aspects of the Sites you may access, to enable the appropriate account services, and to generate reports for you.

Note we use Google Sign-In during account creation and to authenticate you, meaning we do not store nor control your password or password security.

If you download a Game, data collected will depend on the platform and your usage of the Game. As we don’t require a login to the Game, we do not collect any personally identifiable information but do collect anonymous gameplay data: from Unity data analytics, this includes device type, location, etc.; from Facebook analytics this includes statistics on retention, ads, in-app purchases, etc.; from within the Game, this includes platform, download or referral source, ad statistics, game statistics like levels achieved, etc.

If you make purchases within the Game, payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play App Store, which may collect certain sensitive financial information from you to process a payment on behalf of the Company; this information they collect from you is not shared with the Company but generic or non-financial information such as the items purchased and their price will be shared with the Company.

We do not request nor intentionally collect sensitive private information, such as related to health or religion.

If you disclose information about yourself on any community forum, blog, fan page, review site, etc., such content will not be subject to the privacy protections set forth herein.

How we use or share your information

The information we collect will be used to keep you updated regarding the Sites and Games, on the latest versions of our software and services, announcements, updates and upcoming events. The information also helps us plan and improve our products and services, including things like collaboration or brand deal opportunities.

From time to time we will use your information for data analysis, research and development, sponsorships and other similar contest and/or promotion, as well as publishing aggregated statistics (such as subscriber count) or public information (such as channel name) in affiliation with the Company.

If you’ve associated a channel in our talent agency dashboard, we will allow third party sponsorship providers to validate whether your channel is associated should you apply for that sponsorship. We will also share the requisite information if you’ve signed up for other platforms we’ve integrated with.

We may host advertising on some Sites, as well as embed content from third party sites such as YouTube.

We may share your information if we are involved in a merger, sale, or acquisition. If any such change of ownership happens, we will ensure that it is under terms that preserve the confidentiality of your information, and we will notify you on our website or by email before any transfer of your information.

We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when:

  1. permitted or required by law; or,
  2. trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or,
  3. investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes.

Our use of cookies and tracking

The Sites use cookies for gathering anonymous information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, and understanding how visitors use the site.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Sites due to dependencies of functionality.

Our use of third party analytics provider and interest-based advertising

In addition to the tracking technologies we place, other companies may set their own cookies or similar tools when you visit the Sites or use the Games. This includes companies we’ve engaged to provide services on our behalf (like website analytics), as well as third parties that deliver content (like videos from YouTube) or offers (like ads from ad networks) contained on the Sites. We may receive reports from these companies on an individual or aggregate basis.

Specifically for information accessed via YouTube API Services, you can revoke any Site’s access to this information via the Google security settings page when signed into your relevant Google account.

Information Security

We use physical, technical, and organizational security safeguards to help protect your private information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we use computer systems with limited access in controlled facilities to store private information. As written above, we use Google Sign-In during account creation and to authenticate you, meaning we do not store nor control your password or password security.

However, please note that no server, communications network, or data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. The Sites are no exception. We cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted through the Sites and make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss or misuse.

It’s up to you whether you’d like to share private information with us; if you do, you’re acknowledging and agreeing that you’re doing so at your own risk.

Information Retention

Information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above; after that point, data may be kept only for statistical purposes. Note that accounts that violate the Company’s Terms of Service, are inactive for at least six months, or as required under rules like the European Union’s GDPR, will be purged. At any time, you may delete any data you provided when signed into a Site.

Contacting us or reporting a privacy violation

If you would like to contact us regarding any concerns of, or if there is a violation or possible violation of this policy, please contact our support team at https://freedom.support.tm. All communications shall be treated as confidential and will be addressed promptly.

Updates and Revisions

We’ll update our privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, our business operations, or any other reason we determine is necessary or appropriate. When we do make changes, we’ll update the “Last Modified” date at the top of the policy and post it to the Sites, which you are expected to regularly visit. If we make material changes to the policy or the ways we process private information, we’ll provide you additional notices as well (such as by prominently posting a notice of the changes on the Sites before they take effect or sending you a notification directly).
