Perfect, what I am going to do next is send you a link so we can review your options in full detail.

I just sent a link to your phone or go on my site “meeting.is/XXXXX” Let me know when you can see my screen.

Health Sherpa

(Start With HealthSherpa Then Show ONLY The Age And Zip)  CLIENT, I want to confirm that this is your Zip Code and DOB. As you can see, these are all the major medical carriers here in FLORIDA. (Point Out Carriers). You have Aetna, BlueCross, Cigna, etc. (Show a plan with high deductible) Now as you can see, these plans have really high premiums and deductibles… not exactly the direction I’d recommend for you-  but I wanted you to see what all the major medical options in the state look like, just so you have the full picture.

Premier Advantage Network

UW

(Premier Advantage) Now I’d like to walk you through the plan I had in mind for you. This policy is a medically underwritten program, which means eligibility is based on your health. The good news is that since you are in relatively good health, you can qualify for much better coverage — and often at a lower cost.

This policy that we are looking at is through UnitedHealthcare’s Choice Plus network (Point Out On Screen) It’s a PPO - so it goes with you nationwide, any doctor, any hospital in the US!

This plan is also going to be medically underwritten through a United Healthcare company called Freedom Life. Freedom Life is the company that will qualify you for the plan and process your application.

Preventative Care

(Click Popular Plan Features) Now this policy has a $0 deductible, so that means there is nothing upfront you have to pay before your insurance benefits kick in. Also $0 co-insurance and your rate is going to be good for 2 years (point out on screen).

Doctor visits, they're all covered from day 1.  The insurance company in fact pays the first $100 towards each visit. So when you go to the doctors, there is no co-pay at the door.

(Open Doctor EOB) They actually bill your insurance company directly and then you receive what's called an Explanation Of Benefits. Have you ever seen one of these before Client Name?

The total charges were $270.00, that’s the original price, but the provider discount comes in and that's what they give you just for being in the network. That's what the doctor discounted just by them accepting UnitedHealthcare. They took $203.52 off the bill, right? The balance now was $66.48, THE GOOD NEWS IS your plan comes in and pays an extra $100! Now you owe the doctor nothing. Does that make sense? … Great.

(Go Back to Popular Plan Features of Premier Advantage)  Now spinal manipulations work the exact same way. Prescription drug coverage: they cover the first $10 on generic and $40 on the name brand.

Testing benefits: you receive 2 x-rays per year and 4 times to do your labs. Client Name, I'm sure you've been to Labcorp or Quest Diagnostics before for testing, yes? (Open Lab EOB) Alright, here I have an example from Quest Diagnostics. This is some sizable blood work here. Total bill was $895.77, the provider discount was $791.99! The insurance company paid the additional $30. The client was only left paying $73.78 for nearly $900 in blood work! So pretty significant savings, right Client Name?

(Go Back to Popular Plan Features of Premier Advantage)

Excellent! Your urgent care works the same exact way as a regular doctor visit. And then we get into hospitalizations, this consists of your hospital room and board, ICU room and board, AND your hospital provider visits.

IF NOT UP TO DATE:  Are you opposed to waiting 30 days to have COVERAGES for that?

As far as preventative care goes, these benefits work the exact same way; however, this is the only portion of the plan that has a 30-day waiting period. Are you up to date on your checkups? (mammograms, Pap smears, physicals, bloodwork, preventative care) BUT IN THE EVENT …

Out of Pocket Max

(Open Premier Med Popular Plan Features)

that you’re ever hospitalized, you upgrade for cancer, stroke, heart attacks, anything, you name it! You are only paying $3000. The insurance company pays 100% after that. You as the insured pay nothing.  So, the out of pocket for you is $3000 in worst case scenario

(Switch Back To Healthsherpa)

much better than [BCBS,Cigna,Etc.] where the out of pocket is $9,400,

(Switch Back To Premier Med)

$3K is much better than 9K, right Client Name?

This shows your worst-case scenario. Even in the event of a $5 million medical claim, your maximum out-of-pocket cost would be $3,000. From that point forward, the insurance company covers the rest in full.

That’s the part that shields you from serious financial exposure. Does that make sense?

MedGuard

(Point To MedGuard-Highlight Dollar Amount of Medguard Check)

You also have the Medguard critical illness built into the coverage, so God forbid you get diagnosed with cancer, heart attack, stroke or any critical illness... they're going to send you a check for $$$$$. That benefit is designed to offset that worst case scenario of $3000 we just saw, so all your medical bills are covered at 100% and have some money leftover to cover your expenses. .

Now, it's a check I hope you never get because it's in case you get diagnosed with a critical illness. But does does that make sense?

Association

(Click on Popular Plan Features of Association)

Finally, this is your association membership. This will give you access to two great features. The first is your built-in tele-doc service called MD Live. This gives you unlimited doctor visits through a phone, video or app. They can diagnose you over the phone and even prescribe you medications that can be sent to a local pharmacy. Very convenient feature!

The last piece here is your accident coverage. So any Broken bones, stitches, burns, any type of bodily injury / accident claim. You're only paying a $250 deductible.

3 Exclusions

*If pregnancy coverage is needed, pitch PLAN 3 BENEFITS!

(Click on Health Coverage Summary PA)

Finally this policy does not cover 3 things, and I just want to make sure these things are not going to be important to you. It will not cover anything Mental health, such as psychiatric visits or counseling, it won’t cover anything drug and alcohol related so that’s going to be rehab, and lastly it’s not going to cover anything pertaining to the maternity process..

Are those going to be important to you?

Recap

Now, I know we went over a lot of information but let me just give you a quick re-cap of everything.

Your policy is on a United Health Care Choice Plus PPO Network, which will give you nationwide coverage, no referral needed to see a specialist. You have a $0 deductible for all day-to-day services. Anything stemming from an accident or bodily injury is only $250. And your worst-case scenario on the policy is $3000 for anything catastrophic.

Framing Application

(Go To Premier Advantage Brochure)

Okay great. So your exact monthly premium is $302.74. Now WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO from here is go through and submit an application, (BEGIN APPLICATION) (START TYPING NAME, PHONE, ADDRESS ETC) and answer about 15 medical questions. Then the insurance company is going to call you and verify your application. They're going to check your prescription profile reports and your MIB records from the medical information bureau.

They want to make sure you don't have any cancers, heart attacks, strokes, anything like that on your health history. Once they do that, they send me your approval and of course we can begin coverage. Does that make sense?
