Hello Christ Community,

The purpose of these updates is to keep you in the loop as this process of investigating the prospective building unfolds. Any new info will come right here in these (hopefully weekly) updates.

This week, we contracted with an architect to see what we can and can’t do to the building layout to make it work for us- as well as how much the changes we’d like to make would cost. That process is underway, hence, the request for a ladder that Jordan posted on the app last night (thanks Paul!)

A couple reminders:

• Please mark Nov 13 from 6-7:30p on your calendar. We will gather at the prospective building to not only see the building, but also to pray together at our tri-annual all-church prayer meeting.
• Please unite with us in prayer. Below you’ll find a helpful graphic highlighting the prayer requests for this stage of the process. If you can, please print out the graphic and post it somewhere you’ll see it to remind you to pray.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Thank you for praying with us in this unique and exciting season at Christ Community. Like I mentioned on Sunday: if this building helps us accomplish our God-given mission of proclaiming Christ and making disciples of all nations- starting right here in CU, then we want it! If it doesn’t help us accomplish our mission, we don’t want it! Let’s continue to ask the Lord to lead- just as He always has for us. (Psalm 99:6 - “...They called to the LORD, and he answered them.”)
