District-Wide Information
Update on mental health supports:
It is important to plan ahead for the interruption of the existing social-emotional and mental health interventions that we are delivering to students.
For those of us delivering interventions/programs that involve community-based mental health partners (e.g., CBITS, Bounce Back, BHS, FACE-Kids, etc.), we recognize that groups and individual sessions will be disrupted. This will require some additional communication around planning/scheduling/creative group completion with therapist partners upon return to school. We have been in communication with our MH Community Partners and they are aware of our need to be creative upon our return.
In general, we encourage you to develop a list of students who may be in need of wellbeing checks during the upcoming break in the delivery of existing interventions. Please coordinate follow-up within your team and reach out for additional support as needed. BHS therapists are communicating with families of students in that program about supports available during school closure.

Information for families accessing Free WiFi:
Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.
