Tips beating Oak

Tips for Beating Oak

1: Be active/online as much as possible.

2: Leave only your quest pokemon in your party (along with any eggs - clear party often.)

3: Click the index page or clear the online clicklist often - this increases the chances of your quest pokemon making index and getting a nice boost (this is why only have quest pokemon in your party so that it gets chosen)

4: Try to click at least 100 pokemon every hour (500 is better). Not only does this attract more clicks to your own party but you can rack up those dream points too.

5: If you are able to leave your computer on, leave PH open and on top when you are AFK. This also attracts some online list interactions.

6: Once you pass Dragonite, you have the ability to control when you accept Oak Challenges. You can take them every week or skip a week/s and not lose progress. This means you can claim Snorlax or Mewtwo during high activity events, like when a new event is released, Halloween, Shaymin, etc or when there will be an SCS.

7: Have a link to your quest ‘mon in your signature

Rare Candy

If you need them, use these on the last day when your pokemon is at a higher level.

Candy does not give a full level. For example, it will raise a pokemon level from 99 to 100 (with 0%). If you are halfway to 100 from 99, you will gain only half a level. Therefore, feed shortly after a level is gained.

Levels needed to Win

Pikachu = 101

Eevee = 141

Gyarados = 181

Snorlax = 206

Mewtwo = 256

Sizzlipede = 101 (based on one report)
Magikarp = 146 (at least)

Wailord = 188

Dragonite =  246
