Rules for using EB equipment

All members have access to borrow some shooting equipment to help them in their independent productions so please use them!
Just follow these simple rules:
- The equipment can be borrowed only by those members who have paid the current year’s membership fee.
- Reservations can be done for a period not longer than 10 days at a time. Extensions can be granted if there are no new bookings made three days before the original return date.
- Please try to reserve the equipment and inform us about it in advance - if your reservation is made at the last minute the chances are that no one is able to give you your reserved equipment.
- The equipment is primarily for EB members’ independent projects. We don’t borrow our equipment for commercial purposes. However, it is possible to rent the equipment for a fee or an agreed upon exchange of benefits. If you want to borrow EB equipment for commercial purposes, let us know beforehand.
- The equipment is for the use of members of Euphoria Borealis ry. Borrowing on behalf of third parties and productions where EB members are not part of the project, is not allowed.
- It is the responsibility of the borrower to pick up and return the equipment. We don’t do home delivery.
- It is the responsibility of the borrower to pick up and return the equipment on the agreed dates. If you have a schedule malfunction and can’t return the equipment when meant to, let us know ASAP. Failing to return the equipment can end access to borrowing for the member in question.
- When collecting the equipment, a contract has to be signed by you. No exceptions. Even if you know that the equipment is going next to your trusted EB friend. The contract details the state of the equipment both at the time of handing it out and returning.
- If the equipment or parts of the equipment are mistreated, destroyed or missing, the borrower takes responsibility for the payment for repairing/replacing it.
