Editor: Adding this page so folks can add information about the various little festivals of drama between Mica and the various artists they employ.

Editor: Take all of this with a grain of salt, it’s mainly collected and sorta verified rumors from Chinese social media that’s filtered into a Mongolian Basket Weaving Collective

Editor:Congratulations to whatever weirdo tried to turn this page into their own creepy fetish festival, now it’s closed to editing.

 Artist Summary

Nixoo(416)- Suffered from cervical vertebrae trauma after a car ran her over, drew 416's dress in the hospital, posted an update in December about being a poor depressed country bumpkin afflicted with hair loss and losing the will to draw. Thankfully back to work and produced the Children’s Day skin for HK416 and HK416 Mod.3.

Samail(Kar98)- Art director for multiple mobages, got fucked over by a contract for a while, came began congregating within the comments, she ended up removing the picture because the attention was too much for the dork

Huanxiang Heitu(SVD)- Light Novel illustrator, currently doing illustrations for a LN about isekai French Revolution. Worked on Penguin Logistics for Arknights

Kishiyo- Had a feud with devs over seiyuufaggotry/broken promise from Yuzhong, jumped ship to Azur Lane.

PHI(G3)- Kishiyos (ex?)GF

DYJ(WA2000)- bffs with Kishiyo, has the physique of a human male, main job is role playing a cop, draws as a side job

Lowlight(M4A1) - "Amicably" left MICA over creative differences and took a few other employees to open his studio HyperGryph with YoStar’s fundings and make c.

RenatusZ(UMP40)- main job is livestreaming illustrations every day, nets him more than drawing characters for LNs or Mobages, also a hardcore Grubblebab

Rosele(OTs-44)- Half-Jew/Chinese, was admitted several times for mental instability and underwent treatment for Melancholia because her parents refused to pay for her meds, has made a full recovery

Silverwing (AA-12)- married to Lin+ (AR-15) and made (concept?)art for the canceled(not anymore) Bakery Girl 2

SARU(Mp5, all the chibis) - streams gachas and drawings, nicknamed "printer" because of how fast she draws illustrations and always meets deadlines. Also draws chibis.

Anmi(Suomi, RFB, etc) -  Is an obscure womanlet married to geek DDAL.

Hao (StG44, Falcon) - is apparently AL's art director now, he was adopted or something. I don't have a source for this, alas.

DYJ vs. China - Loving your creations more than the fans.

This is a fairly simple and kind of ridiculous situation, Duoyuanjun(DYJ) was the artist for Springfield and WA-2000 when Girls Frontline came out. He was pretty clearly a big fan of his creations and apparently knows some of the creators of the game personally. Springfield and WA-2000 got quite a number of skins produced for them in the early days of tf the Chinese fanbase of the game. They claimed that DYJ producing so many skins for those two Dolls was reducing the number of

skins for other Dolls in the game, in all honesty it looks like DYJ was just really fond of the pair of them and produced a lot of artwork as a result. However the near constant harassment eventually caused DYJ to largely withdraw from social media and he didn’t produce any artwork for Girls Frontline or indeed anything for quite some time, if we are to believe the Internet the following picture of Springfield was posted around the time he went largely inactive. DYJ eventually returned to doing artwork for Girls Frontline with AK-12, AN-94, and the poster for the GF Concert but his newer creations have nowhere near the amount of costumes or artwork of Springfield and WA-2000.

Editor: Ever wonder why Springfield and Wa! Are paired up so often in fanart and doujins despite them never interacting much in the game, their shared artist is the reason why.

Rei vs Nishihara - Assmadness Deluxe!ŵ

For those unfamiliar with the feud between Lee and Contender's artist here's a copypasta that explains what happened:

Back in 2012, both artists attended Pixiv Fantasia Sword Regalia.

For those who don't know, Pixiv Fantasia is this pseudo massive DnD campaign in which artists from all over pixiv create a world and events based on the GM's directions. The faction with the largest likes/hits wins.

Nishihara (Contender's Artist) RP'd as this true neutral wizard character, but at the very end of the event, swapped sides to a faction, thereby making all the likes/hits she accumulated on her artworks added onto the faction. (And to be fair, she's sort of a repeat offender within all the Pixiv Fantasias she attended)

Rei (Lee Enfield’s Artist) was in the opposing faction and got mad at this act. From then onwards every Pixiv Fantasia event those two attended, Rei will always pick the opposite faction that Nishihara picked. Rei would also demand all her colleagues in her artist circle to join the faction she picked, and because Rei is a very high profile artist, her fellow illustrator colleagues naturally went with her.

Rei also started to shittalk Nishihara on twitter. Nishihara got alerted and went to confront her, but Rei appeared to be very amicable talking to Nishihara. The latter thought things were resolved and well, and thus walked away happy.

Rei then proceeded to talk shit about Nishihara again on twitter, only this time in Chinese. Nishihara got alerted and went to confront her again. This time it ended with both women blocking each other.

------

Some years later, Rei got hired by Mica to do GF

A year after GF's release, Mica also hired Nishihara, not knowing about their feud.

Rei got butthurt after seeing Nishihara getting hired and quit, despite this little 'feud' was over half a decade ago.

tldr; Spiteful women being spiteful

------

This is the best summary of the whole situation that I’ve seen. Also, it’s likely that Rei doesn’t want to hang around Nishihara because Nishihara loves to sling plagiarism accusations and being tainted by that shit can kill an artist's career.

Kishiyo vs. Suisai - Waifu Wars

Kishiyo pretty much put together his dream waifu when he designed Type-95 for Girls Frontline, as a result he had certain expectations in his mind about how she should sound when she was eventually voiced. Mica hired Daimon Kami to voice Type-95 and this apparently irritated Kishiyo because Daimon was a very junior VA and wasn’t the voice that he wanted for his dream waifu. Kishiyo proceeded to make some rather shitty remarks disparaging the VA online, somehow in the middle of this appeared Suisai. Suisai put together a recolor of Tar-21 Tavor to point out that Kishiyo pretty much draws one face over and over (ironic given Suisai is guilty of much the same thing)and it quieted him down.

Kishiyo got mad and bitched to Yuzhong about the incident and Yuzhong reacted in what appears to be his usual fashion and told him to deal with it. Kishiyo seems to have taken this fairly hard and seems to only produce variants of Type-95 in literally every game he’s contracted to do artwork in these days.

The VA for Type-95 handled the whole situation remarkably well, she made a comment about it that was fairly neutral about the whole festival of stupid.

Editor: Look at Atago, Takao, and Choukai in Azur Lane for proof that Kishiyo is basically recreating his waifu over and over again. He might as well have a cut-off of Pre-95 and Post-95 for his artwork.

PPK’s Artist Drama - Why PPK was effectively an orphan

>Horimori convinced a fan to let her stay over, proceeded to wreck the place and bail.

>obviously this didn't sit well with Mica and Horimori got fired.

>so PPK isn't getting any costumes or mod3's anytime soon.

------

Dunno which one is closer to the real thing

>be PPK artist

>meet cute fan

>spill spaghetti everywhere and ask to live with him

he says yes

>arrive at house heart racing ready to live a life that isn't lonely anymore

>door opens and greeted by a woman em we

>he introduces me to his girlfriend

Editor: It sounds like the second scenario is fairly close to the truth, Horimori burned her bridge with Mica and it’s unlikely she will be contracted again to produce art for PPK. This effectively leaves the little Kraut pervert an effective orphan in the game and it’s likely that she will never receive a Mod.3 or any costumes unless they contract a new artist to develop artwork for her. _RIRE_ was the artist contracted to make PPK’s Mach Tempest costume.

As for Horimori herself? She’s currently doing fairly well monetarily drawing a mass quantity of bara artwork, it probably pays well but has to be damaging to her soul. There was also some internet sleuthing by various anons that revealed PPK herself may have been a bit of an expy of the artist herself, fun little tidbit of info there. If I can track down the handful of pictures associated with that I’ll add them here.

Nixoo vs. Chinese Traffic - Almost Isekai’d

Back in August, Nixoo got in an automobile accident of some sort and suffered a spinal injury of some sort that hindered her ability to draw for some period of time (China is kind of notorious for their absolutely abhorrent drivers due to a massive increase in folks with the disposable income to buy a car and basically flood the highway system). She consequently missed the submission deadline for an HK416 Children’s Day skin that has occasionally been seen in an incomplete state. More recent posts from Weibo and other sources are fairly conflicting about the current condition of Nixoo, some make it seem like she’s perpetually teetering on death’s door and others seem to indicate she’s slowly making a recovery but still has issues drawing. However, a few months back several of the Girls Frontline artists took an excursion to Japan and Nixoo was among them so she’s apparently capable of traveling so she’s in better shape than the doomposting would indicate. As of 6/20/19 the KR twitter seems to have posted a preview to the 416 Children’s Day skin. Good to see Nixoo has finally finished it.

Editor: Moral of the story, don’t drive in China, or be near a driver in China. If you do get in an accident in China, hope that the guy doesn’t try to get out of his obligation to pay your medical bills and doesn’t just run you over and kill you.

Update!: With the introduction of HK416 Mod.3 and her Children’s Day skin it’s pretty much confirmed that Nixoo is still around and capable of drawing again. We can only hope that she avoids the ever present Chinese drivers and their frightful cars.

Waterkuma, Rumor, Truth, African King?

Waterkuma definitely drew lolis getting blacked, including some GF girls. There are a couple of exhentai galleries and he may have posted some on pixiv too. Don’t know about him being a racemixer, though, (are we living in the 1800s where people might get offended by this?) and artists drawing girls getting blacked is kind of common for a lot of artists (it helps with contrast, for instance).

Editor: Not a lot going on with Waterkuma, the darker male characters present in a lot of lewd artwork tends to be for contrast as mentioned but Waterkuma tends to draw some pretty distinctive ‘ultra-black’ guys and for a brief period of time he drew things like 404. I imagine Mica might have prodded him to ease up on that because there hasn’t been any art of that nature that I’ve noticed since then.

                       Mica CNY Rumor Storm

Or

Yuzhong's Ferrari and Suisai trouble

Rumour about Mica being near death because Yuzhong bought himself a Ferrari for CNY and the rest of the staff got Starbucks gift cards and canned farts for their CNY bonuses cause Yuzhong hired his j to handle the finances and he nearly drove the company into the ground; and the main in-house artists and scenario writers lead by infukun were going to quit en-masse over their mistreatment, leaving Mica without its entire creative driving force? Turns out it was almost entirely hyperbolic bullshit Suisai spread around China Twitter for reasons entirely unknown to anyone with a triple-digit IQ, and the actual problem was not actually company-crushingly dire and everyone talked it over and sorted it out professionally. Also, Yuzhong didn't buy a Ferrari, he just took pictures of it. What he bought was a shitty Soviet-era commiemobile.

The following is the post in question:

“Apparently Sunborn hired a former finance guy (who is a relative of his) last year and he was put in charge of the company's middle management, whose shares were bought back from them.

YZ's old partner Yao had his shares bought back around this time too.

Ever since the new guy was installed, he ended up managing things in a fairly heavy-handed way and the company lost its comfy, friendly atmosphere and people complained about this, especially the middle management who were treated unfairly.

The bigger problem is that the writing team (which got blasted by the fans and received the lowest reviews among everyone else) ended up getting less than a month's bonus (which is particularly depressing since 10 months+ bonus is not uncommon in game companies). At the annual meeting Reyundong (head writer) complained about how this was unfair and offered to pay the rest of the writing team out of his own pocket. It met with great approval and things went out of control from there. The art department also argued that getting only 1-2 months of bonus was ridiculous, especially since YZ was smiling as he bought a Ferrari.

After the annual meeting, the key personnel Wojak had a meeting of their own at Saizeriya to discuss their future plans. Suikame, Infukun and others were talking about resigning, Waterkuma already got an offer from Mihoyo, Zhouzhou and the others already submitted their CVs to mihoyo too. At this point it has to be aid that NS' headhunting skills are pretty amazing, looks like Mihoyo will have to reward him richly. The writing team has also decided to resign en masse; after all, YZ can write, so there's no point in them staying there. YZ can collect the bonus on his own too.

And YZ can draw guns as well.”

This post is pretty much BS for the most part since no official action was taken and everything was business as usual after that, even well after CNY. In addition infukun and other members of the staff said that bonuses were sorted out and so on.

------

Part of the reason why the rumor gained legs was because infukun-was posting about winning a Starbucks gift card in the company’s annual gacha and people interpreted it as him being pissed off. Since Infukun is pretty much the artist for most of the non-Griffin units in the game he is critically important to the staff, and if he gets annoyed, the game’s future is bleak.

Editor: This initial bit of posting caused an absolute shitstorm on /gfg/. I’m pretty certain several threads were completely burned out in the course of an hour or two and at one point a damn /gfg/ thread was the fastest moving thing on the entire website. You could sum up the entire situation with a .jpg of screaming.

There was a follow-up post about how Suisai fucked everything up by causing a panic; to be precise, he simply said “it’s over” and that sparked a huge furore since it came right on the tail of the abovementioned posting.

After that, there was another anonymous post which laid out how Suisai was basically in a lot of shit with a lot of companies (Hypergryph, Yostar, and he rejected an offer from Moe Fantasy ko) so if Yuzhong kicked him out he would truly be fucked.

This is also why the “turtle soup” meme gained traction.

Anyway, you can look through the archives on fireden for more info, if you find interesting pictures of moonrunes which need translation, post them here.

https://boards.fireden.net/vg/thread/242831851/#242849083 <= Start from here, it’s where I got the above mentioned post.

Deadpapilio Issues

- Promoting *the* doujin about Kar and Negev in Auschwitz which enraged so many players there.

- He received commissions from MICA to create fanfiction for Girls' Frontline and it has turned out he plagiarized the work. Do you remember those stories about Springfield, Ribeyrolles, etc? He didn't write those nor credited them to their respective writers. It has also become public that at least part of the art in those fanfics were not paid for even though he should have done so

- He seems to have used his position as a MICA representative to deceive girls who are fans of GF and sexually harass them, including a 15 year old girl in mainland China. He's also made some public misogynistic statement in which he described women as inferior to men. ------

Source: https://media.weibo.cn/article?id=2309404261318243842955&jumpfrom=weibocom

And also he spoke on Mica's behalf on AX2018 (or Gamepress took his comments as being on Mica's behalf).

https://twitter.com/GirlsFrontlineE/status/1020234548536213505

There's also an issue with T-doll maintenance manual and how deadpapilio says its canon?

Editor: This was pretty much a perfect storm of bad decisions on this guys part, the accusations of plagiarism, sexual harassment, claiming to be an official Mica rep, and topped with publically liking the Kar x Negev doujin was a pile of crap too large for Mica to ignore and they promptly canned Deadpapilio T-doll maintenance manual.

The ‘Lost’ Valkyria Chronicles Collaboration

The real kick in the ass with this collaboration came after the fact, an update of Girls Frontline game files in China contained the vast majority of the VC Collab files and it was painfully obvious that this collab was of far larger scale than previous efforts. There were at least six different characters from several iterations of Valkyria Chronicles, swimsuit skins for several of the collab characters, multiple maps, and even custom enemy units patterned after enemies from Valkyria Chronicles itself. The collapse of this collab is why the CN server had a dead spot content wise for several months and only the timing of the Guilty Gear/Blazblue collab on the Global/JP servers apparently enabled Mica to negotiate and rerun the same collab on the CN server as well. I’d imagine this event has made Mica a little gun shy of working with larger companies.

Whatever Happened to Daewoo K7?

If you’ve been on /gfg/ for a while you’ve likely seen pictures of a T-Doll labeled as Daewoo K7 and wondered what server she’s on and when she will appear in the Global server.

The short answer is Daewoo K7 in this form will likely never join her sisters in any server.

------baker

>K7's artist was supposedly involved with a feminist group because all she did was retweet something from one of their members, apparently unaware that they were affiliated with the group, allegedly. Yet, that was all it took to destroy her reputation. (KR absolutely doesn’t tolerate that group AT ALL). And the doll was scrapped completely, never released.

An article that mentions K7

https://www.kotaku.com.au/2018/04/in-south-korea-gamers-stage-an-inquisition-against-feminists/

So this art of Daewoo K7 is probably the only trace of the original K7 that will likely exist for quite some time, I’d expect Mica will eventually revisit Daewoo K7 at some point in the future but they will probably wait quite some time for the hoorah of the original K7 to largely be forgotten. Till then enjoy the damaged art of Daewoo K7.

------

But the best is yet to come:

------

>twitter feminazis hear about the trouble

>decide to raid the GF dc gallery

>goes to a practically abandoned GF dc gallery, while the actual user base was centered in the Bakery Girl dc gallery (mica's previous game)

>the raiders hear about the main gallery

>in lieu to this BG gallery users disguise their place by pretending to be an actual board talking about bread

>the raiders find their target

>or so they thought

>wrongly visits the kancolle board and shits it up

>they FINALLY realizes it’s the bakery girl gallery

>heads wrongly into an actual y gallery and shit it up there instead

>just made innocent bakers hate feminists more

 Girls Frontline Global Advertising Debacle

Basically the 3rd party ad agency makes cringy GFL ads with other IP Fanart, and Mica proceeds to fire the agency and gives everyone apoloresources. Mica has a remarkable track record of hiring or otherwise contracting 3rd party agencies that are either massively incompetent or skeevy, ever since the debacle of their initial advertising attempts Mica has largely ignored marketing the Global version of Girls Frontline.

Doll’s Frontline, Girls Frontline, What Happened?

>GF JP was supposed to have come out 2 years ago

>They had a deal with Yostar, who releases AL

>Then at the last moment Mica gets an offer from a smaller company who say they'll do it cheaper

>So Mica reneges on their contract and signs with the smaller company

>Problem: Yostar holds the copyright to Girl's Frontline in Japan

>Yostar refuses to surrender the copyright

>Mica is stuck

>The small company vanishes

>And Mica is stuck begging for 2 years

>Then just as they manage to make a deal

>Yostar sells it to a failing company which then closes down so Micateam will probably never get the name back

>Micateam gives up and rebrands as Doll's Frontline
2020 Update: MICAteam/Sunborn won the “Girls Frontline” trademark in Japan back

Erocow Minor Drama

This is kind of a minor thing but worth noting, the artist for Welrod, G28, and A-91 had always been assumed to be a man. The profile for the artist on Weibo had never made any mention of gender and it largely remained in the dark for quite some time. Recently however, there were rumors that Welrod’s artist was actually a woman and it was confirmed when she posted a picture of herself on her Weibo.

This caused a bit of an uproar with the Chinese fanbase, to the point of some fans apologizing for their previous remarks about one of Welrod’s costumes. Needless to say this flustered the artist and she promptly scrubbed the picture from her Weibo to avoid the sometimes rabid fanbase of Girls Frontline.

LIN+ vs Suisai

So apparently over a third of the "certain individuals" BSL and Suisai named in their accounts was actually LIN+, as the guy literally came out on weibo and said the person they were talking about was him, then proceeded to show the receipts.

In Suisai's tweet, he says: Actually I'm not that pissed off at Yuzhong, but a special hell awaits this piece of shit who said: "I wish you could fuck off right now." "Do what yo sawu do, let's meet in another lifetime."

In response, LIN+ laid out an entire Messenger conversation with Suisai on his last days in Sunborn/MICA.

Full transcript here: https://wx2.sinaimg.cn/mw690/6f76aae3gy1g50l9hm7toj20m89857wh.jpg

Lin: Suisai, I'm going to give you a bonus. Please be patient because it has to go through some company bureaucracy, but it will be done nevertheless I can promise.

Suisai: No need for that, I'm leaving at the end of the month. Save those bonuses for those still around

Lin: Are you sure?

Suisai: Yah

Lin: You sure you don't want to talk about it?

Suisai: Yah, I'm just coming around to pack my stuff. Let's talk about it after I'm done.

*One day before Suisai officially leaves MICA

Suisai: Hey Lin, could you help this poor man with HR? I wanna get my N+1 (basically a monetary payout for employees leaving the company. N=The months you were still employed this year. +1=The month you left the company)

Lin: Okay, but they'll ask for your personal information, you know that right?

Suisai: Let them ask, I'm deeply concerned about the company's future too.

Lin: Alright, I'll get your bonus ready. But here's my condition, you cannot go around damaging company goodwill, got it?

Suisai: Whatever the law identifies as "goodwill"

Lin: I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I'll go ask for your bonus first.

*Suisai makes his long post attacking MICA and stabs LIN+ in the back. (Turtle Soup Incident)

Lin: Oh so you decided to post it on Weibo anyways. Why even bother then?

Suisai: Well because you were my boss and the only one I could rely on. You could have just done what you said, speak with HR, see what they'll do, and not bother me anymore.

Lin: I'm not a scumbag

Suisai: *Sigh* Then I'll have to run all the way to the Shanghai HR institute again

Lin: You left the group by your own volition right?.,

*Suisai does not respond

Lin: Thank you for your service. Do what you do, and let's meet in another lifetime.

*Suisai makes his tweet denigrating LIN+

Lin: Look, I don't want things to go this fucking far. If you are going to smear and lie about me on Weibo, then I'll have to come out clean and show our message logs. I thought we could still be friends even after leaving the company, but what you’re doing puts my reputation on the line.

Suisai: You better keep quiet, this isn't something you can handle by yourself.

Suisai: But if you do, maybe more ex-employees would come out?

Lin: So you are going to send more people to cancel me? Suisai, is this a threat?

Lin: And what? let you run roughshod over my reputation?

Suisai: Maybe you could have started this conversation with "Sorry, I was a bit agitated and shouldn't have used such harsh language on you." and not lecture in this holier than you way. I wouldn't call this a threat, but a little lesson

Lin: How am I supposed to apologize for something I never did?bsl

Tl;dr

>Suisai buddybuddy with LIN+

>Suisai quit Mica and destroyed all bridges while at it

>"uhh Lin, you will still defend me, right?"

>"no"

>*Screeches Autistically

BSL and LIN+ Stuff

So after reading BSL's "14 Thesus" he nailed on Weibo, I was overcome with a sense of helplessness and lethargy. Initially, I had my reserves for replying to his tweets. One because he never mentioned me by name, and two because digging through age-old message logs to me seems like a waste of time and accomplishes nothing.

However, this "cancel culture" situation has escalated to a point where it's actively affecting workplace morale, and more importantly my relationship with family members. So I'm going to put this out here, not only to clear my own name but also to act as an example for those who want to destroy my life. I'm not going to roll over and die without fighting back.

------

>BSL's Claim:

>He changed my role as a staff member on the very last night before the event and blamed it on Yuzhong when I caught him red-handed.

Lin+ explanation:

Let's start with how the art department is structured. BSL was placed in charge of the Prototype Design department, I am general design, and Yuzhong manages contract work with third party artists. No one's actually a "Lead Art Director" so even I don't think my supposed title makes any sense.

Since BSL wasn't an artist himself, all the final selection, re-check, and optimization process was done by Yuzhong. BSL wanted to be credited as "Chief Art Director", but I thought it was inappropriate, so I suggested Yuzhong scrap that title since no one really was one. Yuzhong agreed to it and we did. However, BSL went and complained to Yuzhong, who later buckled and credited him with that position anyway. By late 18, when I became an actual Chief Graphic Designer, I removed the "Chief Art Director" position from the company altogether.

Oh, and as for me being a glory hound, the same person that you claimed I stole credit from was fervently defending me on social media just now. You provided no examples or screencaps of the incident either so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

------

>BSL's Claim:

>Sneaked his own cover behind Lowlight's cover in the first GFL artbook thinking that no one noticed. I asked Infukun before as to why he's not doing the cover, which he said. "Lowlight is my friend and senior, I want to give him the chance." Who knew Mr. ERemora here wants a little taste of his own glory too.

Lin+ explanation:

First, Lowlight already left to do Arknights when we were doing the first artbook. The original draft was just a mishmash of the art we already have. As seen here.

Regardless to say, I thought it looked horrible, so Yuzhong gave me some fashion magazines for better references. In the end, I settled for this:

However, it later turned out that Lowlight was actually available for the job as a third party, so I took out my own cover and placed it in the interior. Nothing here was done out of malice or wanting a piece of someone else's spotlight.

Infukun Leaving and Minor Buttmadness

This is some relatively minor ass madness that arose from Infukun leaving Mica. I’m not entirely sure of the circumstances behind Infukun leaving but it seems to have been fairly benign, he likely wanted to draw idols or something like that and left under relatively good terms. However the ass madness resulted when some new artwork for SC and such came out, this was done by an artist that was effectively an understudy for Infukun and the fanbase complimented Infukun for what they thought was his own artwork. Some ass madness resulted from this. Really not much else to explain there.

Saru and Fairy Buttmadness

(Edited on Aug.3 by a visitor)

Shattered Connexion Ranking reward was Beach Fairy. And when the image of ranking rewards was released, Saru immediately posted about Beach Fairy looking extremely similar to Artillery Fairy (which she drew). Mica soon updated Beachhttps://m.weibo.cn/status/4403098363955371 fairy artwork.

M14 MOD 3 Hot Fix

(From Matsuda):

After being teased early on as a Mod candidate, it took a long time (4th Mod batch) before she was actually released. While the reception to M14 getting the mod was good, her initial art was found lackluster in proportions and widely criticized. While this was quickly fixed, Rain lan proceeded to be passive-aggressive about it, saying it wasn't her who did it after people praised her quick and excellent edits. Turned out that it was YZ himself who stepped in and made the edits to the art to fix M14's proportions in a rush (there was less than a week before release by the time people saw the full art). She then caught a bunch of flak after being a grump about YZ fixing it (despite the fact the fixes are highly regarded), because it isn't GFL if there isn't artist drama. Mica did not release an official statement on the issue and Rain lan quietly deleted the post and the incident is largely buried.

The original one is the one with the awful skinny legs, small head, and strangely bulky upper body. The white outlined one with thicker thighs is post adjustment.

[a]Wasn't Rei the one constantly accusing artists of plagiarizing?

https://i.4cdn.org/vg/1598585978671.png

[b]I believe so, although it sounds like those two have a fairly long history of flinging shit at each other.

[c]It seems like that bit about Nishihara accusing people of plagiarizing has been there for a while, so I'm not too sure.

Here's the collage of Rei's accusations
