Position Overview:

We are seeking a proficient and dedicated Web Development Tutor to join our partner team in Kaduna, Nigeria, for a period of 6 months. As a Web Development Tutor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and instruction to individuals eager to learn about web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript & ReactJS.

This is an in-person role where you will engage with students directly to impart knowledge and skills in web development.

Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Delivery: Deliver engaging and informative lessons on web development concepts, HTML, and CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS  to students.
2. Curriculum Development: Develop and enhance course materials, lesson plans, and exercises to facilitate effective learning experiences.
3. Individualized Support: Provide personalized support and guidance to students, addressing their questions, concerns, and challenges in understanding web development concepts.
4. Hands-on Practice: Facilitate hands-on coding exercises, projects, and assignments to reinforce learning and practical application of web development principles.
5. Code Review: Review and provide constructive feedback on students' code, helping them improve their coding skills and best practices.
6. Mentorship: Offer mentorship and guidance to students, inspiring them to pursue excellence in web development and fostering a growth mindset.
7. Progress Monitoring: Track and monitor students' progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to support their learning journey.
8. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to collaboration, creativity, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and React as web development technologies.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Previous experience in web development and coding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and empathy in working with learners of varying skill levels.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design (preferred but not required).

Remuneration:

This position offers a monthly salary of 300,000 NGN
