Nine Respect Thread (My Hero Academia)

" I will create a world where only the truly powerful will rule "

Nine (ナイン, Nain?) was a Villain and was the primary antagonist of My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising. He tries to obtain a goal where he can create a world where only powerful people can rule and tries to remove the name "Hero" or "Villain" in the process. He has constantly over powered Class 1-A during the battles with him but in the end was defeated by Izuku "Deku" Midoriya and Katsuki "Kachan" Bakugo at their best.

Quirks:

  • Weather Manipulation (気象操作, Kishō Sōsa?): Nine's initial Quirk allowed him to control the weather; allowing him to summon destructive thunderstorms in an instant and even create a powerful tornado with himself at the epicenter. However, according to Nine, his Quirk was too powerful for him to wield and it resulted in the destruction of his body's cellular tissue.

  • All For One (オール・フォー・ワン, Ōru Fō Wan?): Nine's second Quirk allowed him to steal other peoples Quirks and use them as his own. He was able to steal as many as eight Quirks. Whether he could transfer any of these Quirks to someone else is unknown. Nine received this weaker version of All For One after he proved to be compatible with All For One's Quirk factor. However, receiving this Quirk appeared to have worsened the side-effects of his original Quirk and exhausted him much more quickly.

  • Unnamed Scan Quirk: Nine could see what Quirks other people have and measure their level of power.

  • Unnamed Barrier Quirk: Nine could create multiple layers of transparent barriers made of air to shield himself in a particular direction at a time. He could also create a single spherical barrier to protect himself from all directions. These barriers can withstand powerful attacks such as Izuku's Delaware Smash Air Force and One For All at 100%

  • Unnamed Laser Quirk: Nine was able to fire purple-colored lasers from his fingernails. These lasers can easily pierce through flesh.

  • Unnamed Wind Quirk: Nine was able to fire off powerful gusts of pressurized air. It seems to stun the opponent as shown when Izuku could not move when he was hit by it.

  • Unnamed Water Dragon Quirk: Nine could summon large blue dragon-shaped attacks that he can control at will. He generally summons two at a time but can summon multiple more if he requires it.

  • Cell Activation (細胞活性, Saibō Kassei?): This Quirk allowed Nine to activate the cells in his own body or another person's body, boosting regeneration and repairing any damage. However, it only works on individuals of a certain blood type. Nine stole this Quirk from Katsuma Shimano's father, but it was in vain due to the villain's blood type being incompatible.

Note: The quirks that Nine has were enhanced and were perfect with his body for the experiments. [FP] stands for Nine going at full power.

  • He has the quirk but its later on revealed to be incompatible to him so that's why he needed Katsumi's quirk.

  • He did survived this but he was later killed by the new potential ruler: Tomura Shigiraki.

Side Note:

  • He was stated to be the "Ultimate Villain" by the promotional material yet many things contradict this.
  • While Nine does have "All For One", He is only limited by nine quirks while All For One can steal as many as he want
  • Bakugo was able to contend with him. The same person who struggled against a weighted All Might in season 2 of My Hero Academia.

So overall Nine isn't truly the Ultimate Evil in the series it's still All For One until Tomura comes in line sometime soon to take that place.
