Noob’s Guide

Hello and Welcome to the Leobuck Worlds Noobs Guide! By reading this I am assuming you are new to the Leobuck World or you just need a refresher.

The ‘Buck world is vast and has many different subclasses & series, this doc will help you become familiar with them as well as other important information about the species!

If you’re interested in learning about the Leobuck Worlds lore you can read this document here (the lore doc is still a WIP)

____________________________________________________________________________

All of the Leobuck World is a closed species, meaning you cannot make one for free!

It’s an open world, semi ARPG species, open-world meaning that lore is optional!
____________________________________________________________________________

Key Terms

Subspecies-  refers to the different types of ‘bucks in the species (EG: Lycanbucks, Leobucks, Vulkitbucks, Buckleos, etc)

Breeding Information

In the buck world, some ‘bucks are breedable! Meaning that you can breed two of them together in order to obtain ‘genos’ which are myos but more restrictive!

____________________

»List of Breedables

The following is the breeding information for all ‘bucks!

➙All Lycanbucks, Vulkitbucks, Alibucks, Buckleos & Lyobucks are breedable and can breed with one another as long as they both have a breeding permit which you can purchase from the item shop, win in events, or get in trades! Item Shop

➙All breedable ‘bucks can be bred together to create crossbreeds & mutts EXCEPT leobucks (besides Snowracers and Primals)

➙Leobucks: Leobucks are not fertile and have to go through a set of trials in order to become breedable, once breedable they can ONLY breed with other Leobucks! You can check out the trials here!

➙There are two exceptions to this however, both Snow Racers and Primals can breed without going through the trials and can breed with other types of ‘bucks!

How To Obtain A ‘Buck

»Adopts

There are many opportunities for you to obtain a buck of your own! The most common way is through adopts where the group will post batches for sale, you can pay for these adopts in multiple ways. Always make sure to check the description to see the asking price, all instructions involving how you can buy/pay for an adopt will always be listed there.

»Myos

Myos are sold through the discord server at random times either through bundles on singular slot sales. The species no longer posts MYO sales on DA

»Events

Check the homepage of the official Leobuck group on DA to keep updated on what events are currently taking place! Not all events offer a ‘buck as a prize, but it’s always a possibility so make sure to check it out.
It’s also highly recommended that you join the
Discord as events are sometimes held just there
By events, we mean things like writing events, art events, raffles, FTO (first-time owner) events, and more!

»Customs

Purchasing a custom from Sky is also another way to obtain a ‘buck of your own. Customs are usually sold in the Discord server, and in her Picarto streams! Both of these options however are usually first come first serve, so make sure to pay attention in chat if you’re looking to obtain one this way.

You can also purchase customs from other people in the ‘Buck sever as long as you have an MYO for it!

»Trade / Swap / Sell

You can sometimes find second-hand myos or premade bucks up for offers in the discord server’s Trade-Swap-Sell channel or in the Leobuck Lair. However, the discord is more active so you might have better luck finding something second hand there

Humanoid and feral forms must go through the Database Submission Guide

➙If you need additional help please visit this doc for more information Masterlist Upload Help

»Anatomy

When submitting your references to the database it’s very important that if you choose to hand draw your ref that anatomy is correct. Art styles are null and void when it comes to the reference that will be on the database and it is highly encouraged that if you aren’t confident in recreating ‘buck anatomy that you use the free to use bases or commission someone who has experience/confidence in doing so
