Helpful Links & Resources

All available through the Groveland Elementary Website:

Student Directory

The Groveland Student Directory is your go-to resource for connecting with classmates and other families. It’s the easiest way to organize playdates, birthday parties, and receive communication from room parents about classroom events.

Already have a student at Groveland?
Make sure to update their information for this school year and add any new students, such as incoming kindergarteners.

Remember: You’ll need to opt in every school year and update your child’s grade and teacher to stay current and visible to other families.

Sign Up or Update Info in the Directory Here

Volunteer with the PTO

The Student Directory (hosted through Membership Toolkit) is where families opt in each year for PTO communications. To be included on the current year’s PTO email list, you must update your child’s teacher and sign up as a PTO volunteer annually. This keeps you connected to opportunities like school events, Room Parent roles, Art Adventure, and lunch help.

To Volunteer:

  1. Register in the Student Directory
  2. Click “Signups” in the blue navigation bar
  3. Scroll to the Volunteer Form

Note: All volunteers must complete a free background check through Minnetonka Schools. If you’ve done this in the past, you don’t need to do it again. Not sure? Call Minnetonka HR at 952-401-5014.

School Apps to Know

Seesaw

An interactive learning platform used in PreK–5 classrooms. You’ll get an invitation from your child’s teacher to connect via the parent app.

MySSO / Skyward

Your central hub for teacher assignments, grades, test scores, lunch money, and more.

My SSO / Skyward Link

iSchoolRide

If you plan to pick your child up from school, you'll need to download and set up the iSchoolRide app. This system helps keep dismissal safe and efficient.

How It Works:  When you arrive in the pick-up zone and open the app, staff are automatically alerted. Your child’s name appears on the classroom dismissal list, and the teacher sends them out to meet you.

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Download the App
     Available for free here:
  1. Log In
  • School Code: FJQ-497 (include the dash)
  • Temporary Password: ischoolride
  1. Complete Your Profile
Add your name, vehicle info, and student(s) to ensure proper identification during pick-up.
  2. Setup Guides

Add Authorized Pick-Up Contacts

You can add grandparents, babysitters, or other trusted adults to pick up your child. They’ll be visible to staff but won’t be able to edit your account.

Need help? Call the Groveland Main Office at 952-401-5600 and we’ll be happy to assist!

We’re thrilled to welcome your family to Groveland!
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the school or your classroom teacher. Here’s to a wonderful school year!
