Introduction

Black Myth: Wukong Mythology Contest will be divided into two sections:

Video Submissions Event (on YouTube and/or TikTok) and Social Media Sweepstakes.

• Video Submissions Event: Content Creators and players are encouraged to create videos that help others better understand Black Myth: Wukong through the lens of its lore, its intricate story, and the myths surrounding Sun Wukong (Monkey King). The most well-written, creative and thought-provoking video will be awarded a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Graphics Card, a custom controller, merch, and even an official collaboration opportunity with Black Myth: Wukong.
• Social Media Sweepstakes: For our fans and anyone interested in Black Myth: Wukong, you simply have to follow us and repost official event posts for a chance to win a custom controller!

Please note that:

• Video Submissions Event Participants must upload the videos and submit the entry through the Submission Form (URL) that we have provided within the submission period. Late submissions will not be entered.
• Social Media Sweepstakes All reposts must be public during the contest period.

Event 1.1 YouTube Video Submissions

Destined One, we encourage you to submit videos with your own unique take on the mythology surrounding Sun Wukong (the Monkey King), adding your creative flair to the Chinese classic Journey to The West.

Submissions could contain, but are not limited to, Sun Wukong’s abilities, personal experiences, background story, myths surrounding the characters in the novel Journey to The West, comparisons of lore between games, and many more.

How to Enter

• Post the videos on your YouTube channel, and make sure to submit your link and details via the Submission Form (URL).

Requirments

• Participants must submit entries via the Submission Form (URL) within the submission period, otherwise your entry will be omitted.
• Videos should be at least 3 minutes with no upper time limit. Video length does not affect the contest results.
• Add three mandatory tags. #Blackmythwukong #Wukong #Monkeyking
• Submissions must be public. No editing, hiding or deletion of material during the duration of the contest.
• Optional: We recommend videos to be 1080p, or as high as possible to ensure quality.
• Optional: Use subtitles if possible.

Submission Criteria

• Participants may submit multiple entries.
• Participants may submit the same entry to multiple platforms.
• Multiple entries of great similarity from the same platform will be excluded from evaluation.
• Participants may only receive prizes once.

Prizes

Our team will vigorously watch and analyze each video submission in order to ensure fairness when scoring. The evaluation will consist of three main criteria: production quality, creativity, accuracy and understanding of mythology characters related to Black Myth: Wukong.

Both the long form and short form video submissions will be judged via the same criteria.

Please note that participants may only receive prizes once.
