CPD CONTRACT
My name is BLANK and I am a year (ex: sophomore, alum, etc) at DePaul University. I am reaching out on behalf of myself and my community members to demand that Depaul end its contract with CPD. By continuing this contract you are upholding systemic and institutional racism. The University prioritizes the comfort of CPD, rather than the safety of its Black students. This blatant racism will not be ignored.
CPD are violent agents of a racist system that seeks not to defend and protect, but to harm and terrorize.We demand that you end this contract immediately. DePaul’s Vincentian mission asks what must be done. Here is what must be done: divest and defund the partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police.
