Flashing China Version Firmware to Global Version Guide

Please Read Notice and Disclaimer before flashing：

1.This tutorial is suitable for users who have purchased the Chinese version of OnePlus watches, but only need to use them in non-China regions, to help users flash the watch firmware version to the global version. After refreshing, use the global version of the OnePlus Health app to pair and use it. The Chinese version of the Heytap Health app can no longer be paired.

2.Only the Chinese version can be brushed to the global version, and it is not possible to brush back from the global version to the Chinese version. Please choose carefully.

3.After flashing the phone, the watch will lose features of the Chinese version: Alipay, NFC, bus card, GOMORE motion algorithm (stamina algorithm, etc.), Chinese language and other functions.

4.The software version provided is an undisclosed version (‘undisclosed software’), which shall not be disclosed to any third party without the written consent of OnePlus.

5.Given the special nature of this services, you understand and agree that under none of the following circumstances shall OnePlus be held liable for your losses (including but not limited to property loss, loss of earnings, loss of data, cost of a replacement products or services, or any other tangible or intangible losses):

a)If you suffer losses due to your use of the undisclosed software to flash or reboot your OnePlus smart hardware devices (including but not limited to OnePlus Watch);

b)If you suffer losses due to your use of your OnePlus account in violation of relevant provisions, or you use your account improperly.

Be prepared：

1.One Android phone and supporting data cable, watch and supporting charging base.

2.Save the flashing package into your phone's Download folder (it can also be saved in other folders, the folder name path shouldn’t include Chinese). 4.Please place the watch on the charging stand before flashing the phone to charge it.

Step 1：

1、Turn on the watch, select language to enter the pairing page (if your watch has been paired with your mobile phone, please reset the watch from the watch Settings - system - reset to default).

2、Find your watch in your phone's Settings -- Bluetooth and pair it.

3、Open the [BT client] APP.

4、Select the watch in the device list to connect to the watch.

Step2：

1、After the mobile phone APK is successfully connected to the watch, click the [sendFile] button; in the pop-up options, select the first step [OTA file 1:], and then select the B280STM32_ota.bin file that has been saved in the mobile phone directory.

2、During the transmission, the watch will display the transmission progress bar. After the transmission is successful, the watch will display the progress 100%.

Step3：

1、Operate [click to select AT command], select [OTA upgrade].

2、The watch screen shows [Upgrading…], the watch will restart after the upgrade, please select language to enter the pairing page.

Step4：

1、Open BT client APP and select the watch in the device list to connect to the watch again.

2、Operate [click to select AT command], select [Bright Black/Silver] according to your watch color. This step is very important, so be sure to complete this step.

3、Long press the down button of watch, restart the watch.›

Attention：

Do not change the name of the package file, otherwise the import will fail and the upgrade will not be possible.

Import the data package into the phone directory before the upgrade. It is not recommended to use Chinese as the storage path, and the data package placement path should not be too deep.

If the Bluetooth connection does not return OK, at this time, even if the package is successfully transmitted, the upgrade still cannot be performed; you can try to restart the watch repeatedly and then connect again. If you have not recovered after several attempts, please contact us.

During the file transfer process, if there are some abnormal printing on the mobile phone, such as data write error, it may indicate that the upgrade cannot be performed. If you find that the transfer cannot be successful after encountering such problems, please export the relevant log or screenshot in time and contact us.
