Press Conference to Feature Next Man Set for Execution in Oklahoma. (Execution date 9/26/24)
Emmanuel Littlejohn to Describe Situation via Live Zoom as New Video is Released.
Oklahoma City - Emmanuel Littlejohn, who is scheduled for execution on September 26, 2024 in Oklahoma, will speak and take questions via Zoom during a clemency campaign launch press conference hosted by Death Penalty Action at 11am CDT on Monday, July 8, 2024. The on-line press conference will highlight evidence that Littlejohn has never killed anyone and the unfairness that the actual shooter received a life sentence while Littlejohn faces execution in just eleven weeks. The press conference will also feature the release of a new clemency campaign video featuring the voice of Emmanuel Littlejohn as well as footage from the crime scene, and a call to action inviting concerned citizens to implore Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to halt the execution and commute Emmannuel's death sentence to a sentence of life with the possibility of parole - the same sentence offered by prosecutors at the time of the trial.
