Location: Kirkland Marina Park Pavilion

What: Rally, March, Food bank collection, Immigrant Support donation collection.

When:

  • 1 pm - gather at Marina Park, drop off Food Bank donations at the Pavilion and near the restrooms
  • 2 pm - Rally - speakers with ASL interpretation
  • 3 pm - March through downtown Kirkland

Host: Indivisible Eastside

We encourage those who are able to attend the NO KINGS Seattle peaceful rally. But if you prefer to stay on the Eastside, please attend NO KINGS Kirkland - Take Action, or another Eastside event.

Take Action We will be collecting items for local food banks and monetary donations during the event for Immigrant Support Organizations on the Eastside. We also ask you to continue your involvement after the event. See https://linktr.ee/indivisibleeastside for ways to get involved.

Getting there/Parking

Please plan on taking public transportation if possible. The Kirkland Transit center is just 2 blocks away from Marina park. You can use https://tripplanner.kingcounty.gov/ to plan your route. Note: during the march, buses will not stop at Kirkland Transit. Check Metro’s Service Advisories for rerouting details.

If driving and you’re able, please park 3-5 blocks away to reserve closer parking for attendees with less mobility. 4 hours street parking is available on most streets and in area pay lots. See Kirkland’s Guide to Public Parking - including accessible parking locations, and try out Kirkland’s Real-Time Parking Availability Map - Pilot. Note: Lakeshore Plaza lot and Lakeshore Auxiliary Lot will be closed for the event. Street parking along the march route will be marked with advisory signs indicating that you may park there but will not be able to leave until the road is opened back up after the march.

Keep Kirkland Beautiful! Your help is much appreciated - leave no trace - pack it in, pack it out!

Area Businesses: As some streets will be closed for the march, area businesses are concerned how it will impact them. Consider supporting local businesses by shopping or having a meal before the event!

March Route: On downtown streets which will be closed. March begins and ends at the South end of Marina park.
