Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.

We are informing everyone on our current position on the allegations about Soojin’s school life.

Firstly, we’d like to apologize that we have not been able to swiftly release a statement regarding this issue. We’ve been trying our best to verify the facts and it took us a long time to organize and assert our position. Please understand this.

We discussed the facts with our artist’s school, teachers, alumni, and more who were around during this time. At the current time, we have been able to confirm that it is true that the two had a fight over the phone, but no other facts have been confirmed about the violence that has been claimed by the authors of the posts.

Therefore, we proposed a face-to-face meeting to verify the truth between those directly involved, not the creator of the post or another representative. However, all sides showed reluctance to meet up so the meeting did not take place between those directly involved. However, if those who are directly involved would like to set up a face-to-face meeting, we are open to arrange one.

At the current moment, Soojin has put a halt to all her activities and (G)I-DLE will be continuing their activities as 5 for now.

We’d like to apologize once again to those who have been feeling discomfort due to this matter involving our artist. However, we will be taking strong legal action against malicious comments and posts with information that is proven to be false.

We will be making sure to find the truth regarding this matter so that no one involved is unfairly treated.
