Cpt longed to become like his father and strived to one day pilot his own ship to some day avenge his family. Who were killed by a cruel, ruthless, sadistic barbarian named Harlett Joss. When visiting the beautiful Gonnzakk IV; deep within Caldari space, Cpt's family enjoyed the tri-sunned sunny beaches when a dark ship erupted the heavens; brightly coloured lights red's, blue's and green's incinerated all who were on those once populated beaches now turned to hard black rock and dust.
Now Cpt searches the deep regions of the Amarr Space after finding out from Harlett's daughter that Joss was somewhere close by. Cpt now still searches for the man who ended his once peaceful life.
"I will find you Harlett Joss.............. you WILL suffer.
Eve Gate - New Eden
The trail was getting cold, so while in the Amarr regions Cpt decided to visit the Eve Gate to reflect on the past, present and future. While staring into the empty void of the unreachable endless Eve Gate, he was once again tipped off by Harlett’s daughter that Joss was on the move again and seen in a few key locations; the first of which was the Katia Sae Monument in Saisio.

Upon arriving Harlet was nowhere to be seen but after asking in local if anyone had seen or heard about his whereabouts, a Myrmidon pilot contacted him saying Harlett was just here and that he was causing issues in the system and killed his Mobile Tractor Unit. He also mentioned a few systems where Harlett said he would be going;

2 Old Man Darieux’s Stargate.
3 Project Discovery Phase One Monument.
This all sounded rather suspicious but this man had ruined Cpt’s life and this was all he had to go on, so he set off for Iyen-Oursta.
Battle of Iyen-Oursta Monument - Iyen-Oursta
Not surprised by the outcome in Iyen-Oursta; the system was completely empty, so Cpt set off for Old Man Star as this is a highly contested LowSec system; Cpt was suspecting a gate camp of sorts for him.
Old Man Darieux’s Stargate - Old Man Star
Surprisingly no gate camp but lots of pirates in the system. Cpt waited around for a bit on the gate built by Ceul Darieux on his ill-fated mission but soon moved onto the next stop.
A Small Tasty Snack.
While traveling through HighSec, Cpt noticed the locals asking for assistance in hunting down a loot thief; which he happily obliged, bagging the loot thief and stopping the reign of terror Julian Explorador was causing to everyone.
Chribba Monument - Amarr
Needing to take a quick detour to Amarr Trade hub; to top up on ammo and drugs. Cpt decided to take a selfie with the legendary Chribba; who has done all sorts of wonderful things for New Eden in his career. Talking about people who have done some wonderful things for New Eden; Cpt went to visit the graveyard of New Eden in Molea.
Project Discovery Phase One Monument - Lanngisi
Again nothing Harlet Joss was nowhere to be seen. Cpt waited around to see if Harlet was close by and would jump into the system. While observing the various ships using their Entosis Links on the monument, he noticed a small container with his name on it!
Upon opening the container a small letter was inside which read;
Now seeing the route set by Katia Sae and the JustAbout team, Cpt now knew the destinations that Harlett would be following and set his eyes onto the Black Monolith in the system of Dead End in Genesis.
Black Monolith - Dead End
After arriving at the Black Monolith, Cpt noticed a small Blood Raider fleet guarding the unknown object. Energy Neutralizers will put a Hecate very quickly dead in the water and wanting to get a picture as close as he could get; he sneakily kited the fleet away from the Monolith.
Upon getting closer he noticed the sheer size of the thing and strangely the “Black Monolith” wasnt black at all but more silver in colour.... very odd indeed!

Birthday Bash - Pochven
After a massive fight between Sleepers and Triglivians broke out right next to the party wreckage field, Cpt decided not to sit too close and risk getting his Hecate destroyed while attempting to take a picture, so he kept his distance!
Someone did indeed have an interesting birthday bash!
EVE Travel Agency - Mozzidit
After dipping out of Pochven and paying a quick visit to the Travel Agency he decided to stretch his legs and take a small spacewalk to see what the local shops had on offer. After buying some Quafe and a Fedo to keep himself company; stepping out of the pet store; he snapped a picture of his Hecate docked above the Agency's spaceport.

Deciding to pay tribute to all those who are not with us anymore, Cpt decided to don his Heartsurge Skin and wrote a small poem in tribute.

Upon arriving at the observatory Cpt noticed another container waiting for him, again with a note inside:
Null Security
Taking up Harlett’s invitation to go deeper into the nullsec systems that were listed on Katia’s tour. Cpt decided not to take the bait and to change out of his “pathetic ship” and into something faster, harder to catch and out of his expensive clone; especially considering there would be many gate camps and bubble traps in these nullsec regions. Packing his ship with all the items needed for this epic journey, he loaded it with some Pochven filaments to utilize the Pochven Express to save him having to travel many many jumps or just to get him out of a pickle and for good measure; some fireworks to celebrate the final step of the journey.
At this point it was just about locating Harletts’ wearabouts rather than killing him.

Sisters of Eve Flotilla - Drifter Redoubt Wormhole
Thinking finding the Drifter Redoubt Wormhole would be an issue, Cpt thought he would leave this task to last and possibly seek help with the Legendary Eve Scout crew to find the allusive location. But while traveling towards the Pioneer's Sanctuary, he noticed some Autothysian Lancers hanging around on a stargate scanning everything; which was a sure sign that a Drifter Wormhole was close by,
After warping to the entrance, Cpt noticed that he had landed 70km away from the hole where he also saw three Drifter battleships guarding the entrance. Cpt immediately cloaked up and waited for them to leave, as Drifters are not to be trifled and have caused many issues to pilots since their first appearance many years ago.
After they vacated the system and jumped back into their wormhole, Cpt decloaked his ship and burned towards the entrance as quick as he could; getting caught by the drifter would be a swift death sentence. Upon entering the wormhole and to avoid another encounter with the Drifters; Cpt didn't want to waste any time and warped to the lengthy Flotilla.
What are they up to? Where are they going or where have they come from? Knowone really knows!
Pioneer's Sanctuary - ZH3-BS
Upon arriving at the first system on the NullSec tour in ZH3-BS - (Tenal) Cpt noticed a Phoenix oddly on its side! He guessed that Lauka Ikunol; the agent piloting it, must be asleep at the helm and weirdly turning her ship on its side too.
A History of War - C-J6MT
After arriving at the war memorial in C-J6MT (Insmother) Cpt was somewhat perplexed; there was no beacon in space to highlight the warp-in location, so he went to have a read on Katia Sae’s original blog about how to find the location of this gigantic object in space. The locals were not happy at all to see him in “their” system and tried to form up a bubble camp to catch him but the Ares was no match for them as he swiftly flew through their bubbles and onto the next stop of the journey.
Titanomachy - B-R5RB
Reminiscing in B-R5RB (Immensea) about the first time when Cpt first moved into NullSec. He used to live in GXK-7F only 7 jumps away from this epic wreckage field; lots of fun was had and he soon discovered running anomalies was not for him and discovered how lucrative Relic Sites were. At that time he used to use an Astero but soon found out Interceptors are the way to go with exploration.
Pochven Express
Looking at the next destination he soon realized that the 45 jumps needed was staggering! So he decided to utilize the Pochven Express with the filaments he brought with him. Deciding he wanted to next visit Stain, he looked at the Pochven Entry Manual to find out what area of Pochven would be best to yeet him to that would be close to Stain.
Harva seemed to be the most logical choice as that would drop him into Domain. So looking at the Pochven map for which filament to take he could see that Harva was located in the “Krai Svarog” constellation; so he used the Cladistic-5 'Krai Svarog' Filament in his cargohold, which yeeted him 2 jumps from Harva and once in Harva and then out of Pochven using a Wormhole he found; Stain’s destination was only 15 jumps away!
True Creations Pool of Radiance Research Lab - 6QBH-S
Basking in the Pool of Radiance, Cpt decided he needed to stretch his legs and get out of the jelly that encapsulated him inside his pod. Putting on his spacesuit he landed on the moon below and sat there contemplating his journey and his eager drive to find Harlett Joss. He considered what Harlett was up to right now, being a menace to the locals, scamming someone out of their hard earned ISK or maybe this whole trail is one elaborate joke. Regualress if this was one big joke this was a beauty to behold and was worth the trip.
Many hours elapsed staring into the abyss, Cpt found himself transfixed on the pulsating and ever changing spatial anomaly, at one point he swore he saw a figure dancing in the radiance but as pure light essence. Was the anomaly spitting out some unknown radiation making him hallucinate or did he really see her? He knew no one would ever believe him so looking back at his neural optic implant memory recordings, he managed to capture what he thought he saw.
Things were getting a bit trippy here and enough time had passed and Steve was calling him to his grave in C9N-CC (Esoteria).

Why is Steve so far away? What happened here? Poor Steve 🙁
Being in the paper thin Ares, Cpt once again had to kite the pirates off Steve to get a close up selfie. While he thought he had managed to drag them off enough and start taking pictures; the pirates were in fact still in range and his shields suddenly evaporated! At least he managed to capture this odd angle of Steve before warping back to his safety ping; it reminded him of Unicron; the planet-sized Cybertronian god of chaos from old Earth's forgotten foes in the distant past.
The next and final stop for NullSec was Delve but as it was 35 jumps away through many bubble camped gates. Cpt just couldn't decide whether he wanted to come from a NullSec side or from towards HighSec. It was to either travel the 35 jumps in a direct line, Pochven Express or use a Thera WH which had an exit to Querious. He just couldn't make his mind up!
Going the direct route would bring him through 1DQ1-A and looking at Eve Gate Check it looked very bad indeed! He was starting to think running this “Grand Tour” on a Friday wasn't such a good idea.
Unfortunately the Pochven Express did not have any systems close by to Devle to yeet into and it would be coming from the HighSec side; which inherently would just be a bad idea.
Considering his options, using Thera would be the safer option; less camps, 27 jumps from Querious and there was also a Thera stop to drop by on Katia’s tour.
Change of plan Pochven Express to find a Thera connection! The quickest way was to go into Sinq Laison, so that would have been a “Cladistic-5 'Krai Veles' Filament” to get into Ala where he crossed his fingers hoping for the best.
Epicenter - Thera
Jumping into Thera from a HighSec wormhole, Cpt was immediately caught inside a bubble with a 15 man fleet killing anyone jumping through. While still in jump cloak Cpt activated his Interdiction Nullifier and swiftly escaped the carnage that was unfolding before him.
After bouncing around a bit too loose the people who were chasing him Cpt eventually found his way to the Epicenter to take a picture amongst the strange Sleeper structures and artificial wormholes that were dotted around; while also avoiding the Sleepers who guarded the site. Once he got the picture he was after and took an exit wormhole into Querious to make his way towards Delve for the next stop.
Massacres Monument - M2-XFE
Surprisingly the journey through Querious and through Delve was a lot quieter than Cpt thought it would be and getting into M2-XFE wasn't an issue at all. The locals who lived there did try to locate him with Combat Probes, so Cpt cloaked his ship and had a nice chat with them until they got bored and gave up; where he then decloaked and warped to the fantastic looking monument. A very interesting design indeed!
The next and final stop was Syndicate.
Syndicate Executive Retreat Center and Cord of the Elements - D-B7YK
After arriving and very much enjoying the beauty of the spatial anomalies' rich and vibrant colours, Cpt decided to take a little bit of down time at one of the many pleasure stations that were sprawled around the Retreat Center to have a lap dance with the local exotic dancers.
To celebrate the final step of the Grand Tour journey Cpt decided to fit the festival launchers he had brought all this way with him and shoot them off towards the spatial anomaly for a final picture and thought the added spectacle would be a nice way to finish it all off. After very much enjoying the whole trip he decided to write another poem to commemorate the Grand Tour.
The trail once again went cold and Harlett was nowhere to be seen, no more cryptic messages left for him inside a container; no nothing! After feeling somewhat of a loss but happy he went on this epic journey Cpt decided to return home to pick up his Hecate and again go to where it all started, back at the Katia Sae monument in Saisio; maybe he missed something?

Upon arriving back at the monument Cpt saw that Harlett was here in a Gila, along with one of his corp minions in a Hecate and by the look of her; possibly his new partner in crime. Without any final speeches to gloat, Cpt was bombarded with two invites for combat.
Being one to not turn down a fight, Cpt Armarlio decided to take the challenges and fight them together and he very much liked the odds of a 2v1. His heart was pounding!
To reduce the incoming damage he decided to destroy the Hecate first and then had the tedious task of slowly killing the flights of drones the Gila was spitting out. Once all the drones were dead the fight was over for Harlett and Cpt finally got the revenge he was after all these years.
After all these years of searching for the man who ruined his life; it was over! Was it worth it? Cpt just wanted to be sure and he still couldn't believe it, it was finally over! Cpt felt a calming wave wash over him, as he felt reborn and could now focus on getting his life back together; the sensation excited him with possibilities of things to come!
Final Thoughts
After seeing this event posted on the JustAbout webpage I thought this would be a nice event to stretch my space legs again after having a 3 month break from the game and get back into my writing spirit.
When I first started Eve back in 2007 I had the idea to role play my character and do a blog; which I started to do at first but once I really got into Eve; the blog idea just fizzled out and the only remnant of it was the story I came up about my character which has been in my bio ever since. So for running this event I wanted to do something special and return to the role playing idea and develop a story out of it all; which I have tried to do. Adding the small other bits, like the poems, pictures and the whole story from start to finish was very enjoyable indeed!
I very much enjoyed the event, going system to system and capturing screenshots of the various places; it very much reminded me of the Grand Prix that I sorely missed last year. Going to each location that Katia Sae had recommended was great seeing the game through her eyes, albeit a much much shorter journey! Like Katia Sae, I also managed to complete this without losing a ship; I nearly died a few times to NPC’s but that was mostly down to my stupidity and over estimating them.
I would highly recommend anyone to do this event and I very much look forward to seeing everyones else’s journey pictures.
