Jewish Women for Kamala and Muslim Women for Harris-Walz Stand Together Against Republican Attempts to Sow Division

For both of our communities, the stakes of this election are as high as they get. As Muslims and Jews, we see the threats of antisemitism and Islamophobia running rampant. As women, we fear for our physical freedoms and our right to make our own healthcare decisions. As Americans, we know we need leadership that will provide stability and enact policies that help grow our economy, protect our climate, and create opportunities for everyone.

We know that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will work every day to accomplish all of that. And we know that Donald Trump and J.D. Vance and their extreme Project 2025 agenda will wreak endless havoc and do irreparable damage.

Over the course of this election season, there have been countless efforts to divide our communities, to pit us against one another. Most recently, we’ve seen despicable ads being run by an Elon Musk-funded super PAC, with spots airing in predominantly Muslim areas claiming Kamala Harris is too pro-Israel and others running in heavily Jewish areas touting Harris’s sympathies for Palestinians. Two ads being put out by the same organization – with no purpose other than to divide.

Today, we call on our communities to join us in standing together and rejecting those attempts to divide. We call on Jewish women, Muslim women, and allies everywhere to show America and the world what we know to be true: that there is more that brings us together than that tears us apart. That we are stronger and safer when we work together to build a better future. And that we trust Kamala Harris to be a leader who fights for each and every one of us and who works to advance freedom, dignity, peace, security, and self-determination for all peoples in the Middle East.

With so much hanging in the balance with this election, our communities deserve nothing less.
