City Expansion Lead - Sitch

We bring back the hope and fun in dating by making thoughtful, curated introductions that skip the swiping and the small talk. We're building for the urban millennial who's serious about love and tired of the apps. You’ve seen us in TechCrunch, Business Insider, the New York Times, or maybe on a billboard - and we’ve raised from M13 and 16z (speedrun).

The Role

We're looking for a City Expansion Lead to own the launch of each new city that Sitch goes to. You’ll be responsible for building buzz, recruiting the first users and ambassadors, organizing a killer launch event(s), and creating the early magic that makes Sitch feel like a no brainer choice in a new city.This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on moving fast, rallying people, and making things happen.

🤝Launch New Cities (4-week sprint per city)

  • Build a custom launch strategy for each city
  • Identify key levers: paid media, IRL events, influencers, etc.
  • Create a 4-week timeline and run point on every detail
  • Partner with paid growth, content, community, and ambassadors to own city-specific execution — you’re the quarterback, not the whole team

🌱Plan & Execute Launch Week Events

  • Design on-brand, high-energy kickoff experiences in each city
  • Own invites, RSVPs, and on-the-ground logistics
  • Work with ambassadors, influencers, and local friends of the brand

📣Seed the Right First Users

  • Help bring in the first 1000 users per city: attractive, intentional, and ambitious
  • Identify local ambassadors and early adopters

  • You’re based in NYC and excited to travel occasionally for launches
