Time Control: 25 minutes + 5 seconds

Format: 5 Rounds Swiss

Sections: U8 (2018 or later), U10 (2017 & 2016), U12 (2015 & 2014)

                  U14 (2013 & 2012), U18 (2011 & 2010 & 2009 & 2008)  

                  Sections will be combined if there are not enough players.                          

Ratings: All sessions will be CFC quick rated.

Schedule: 10:00 am / 11:30 am / 1:30 pm / 3:00 pm / 4:30 pm

Entry Fees: $45

                     $40 (MCC Member)

Please include the full name of the player and CFC ID number as a message in the e-transfer.

Refund Policy: A $5 deduction applies to the entry fee for transaction fees. No refunds or credits will be issued after Nov. 29

Prize: The top three finishers in each section will be awarded trophies.

Byes: Maximum two half point byes in rounds 1-3 if requested before round 1.

           Zero-point bye in rounds 4 and 5.

To qualify to play in the CYCC via a CYCC Qualifier event (CFC website):

You must play at least 3 games in the event (excluding byes).

Your score must be 50% or more (including byes).

You should verify your name has been added to the CYCC Qualified Players list found on the CFC website.

Equipment: MCC will provide chess sets, clocks and scoresheets

Parking: Free parking in the front and back parking lot
