RP Priority List

Ideologies
Rare Prisms are another form of currency in FGO. You can read the How to get RP section on how to get RP. A lot of the items in the RP shop are luxury but there are a few items that end up converting to quartz. Therefore, in order to achieve maximum efficiency, we want to prioritize items that give us more quartz.
Past the initial bond grails that an account can buy, you can buy some more luxury items as long as you’re reasonably not wasting bond points.
Nothing on this list is important enough to burn servants for. It is much more beneficial to have an extra servant in your roster to ensure maximum flexibility. This is especially true with the 7th anniversary changes where you get 3 quartz for max ascending a servant: why would you spend the mats to get a servant to final ascension and then burn them afterwards?
How to get RP
- Selling a 4* or 5* servant. A 4* servant gives 1 RP, a 5* servant gives 5 RP.
- If the servant is not NP5 then you should not sell them for RP.
- Even if you don’t use that servant, you are basically guaranteeing that that servant is irrelevant by selling additional copies of it.
- Furthermore, from LB7 and onwards there are roster checks that prevent the player from only raising a few servants and thus you will need more unique servants raised in order to complete that content.
- NP6+ of welfare servants. You do not have to sell/burn the servants to get the RP, it will automatically be given to you when you get the 6th copy and onwards.
- Various campaigns in FGO.
- Refunding of RP spent when the corresponding item becomes free (costumes and Main Interludes for example).
- 7th Anni gives an RP for each welfare servant fully ascended. This also includes Mary Anning, Nobukatsu, Saber Lily, and Habetrot.
- (JP only) Ordeal Call gives RP from permanent master missions based on unique servants ascension. It is therefore recommended to raise a variety of servants if you want those rewards.
NA
Free:
- Dantes Tower (Vengeful Demon’s Wail at the Prison Tower)
- London clear required, Solomon clear for the CQ. 5 RP for 9 tickets (27 quartz) and a bunch of mats means that it’s very efficient in terms of rewards.

- CCC SE.RA.PH Main Interlude (the one with BB)
- Solomon clear required. You get a ton of rewards from this. It does cost you 7.7 mil QP to complete but that’s minimal in the grand scheme of things.

- Buying the main interlude picks up where you left off if you did it during the free access period. This means that if you’ve fully completed it, the only thing that’s available is the repeatable Kiara fight.
- Santa Altera Main Interlude
- Baylonia clear required. Only the main interlude is free, which gives you NP1. You still have to pay 8 RP for the NP copies (see below in the luxury/situational section).
- Tunguska Sanctuary Main Interlude
- LB6 completion required. This is not mandatory to actually complete Tunguska because everyone has access to the Prologue and Epilogue when you beat LB6.

- Ooku Main Interlude
- LB3 and SE.RA.PH completion required (can be original event, rerun, or SE.RA.PH main interlude)

- Imaginary Scramble Main Interlude
- LB4 completion required.

- Free Mystic Codes
- Memories of the Lunar Sea (SE.RA.PH Main Interlude completion required)
- Splendid New Year (Solomon completion required)
- Free Trial quests
- Arjuna and Karna (America completion required)
- Brynhildr (LB2 completion required)
- Sherlock Holmes (Lostbelt Prologue completion required)
- Hokusai (Salem completion required)
- Parvati (LB3 completion required)
- Musashi (Shimosa completion required) (no quartz or ticket)
- Free other quests
- Learn with Manga! FGO Volume 2 Quest (America completion required)
- All other free trial quests that I might’ve missed
- Free costumes (refunded if purchased early)
- If you like making your servants look good (fashion is the true endgame).
- A large number of these become free in the future; consult this doc for more info FGO Spiritron Dresses List
Recommended:
- Bond Grail (Lantern of Chaldea)
- Only if you have bond 10 servants that can reasonably hit bond 11 (top supports/Arash for example). Every bond level above 10 gives 30 quartz but bond 10 → 11 takes over 1 million bond points. In comparison, getting a 4* servant to bond 10 takes a similar amount of bond points.
- Chaldea Lunchtime
- Only if you have 5K Mana Prisms to buy all 5 copies immediately. 10% bond bonus is universally applicable and great for supports.
- Heroic Portrait Exchange Shop (HSP)
- 50 flat points is better for free quests than 5% bond points. This is because most free quests provide less than 1k base bond points, which means that 5% bond point CEs usually end up providing <40 bonus BP. Additionally, only being 5 cost means you can fit it into many more team comps.
- 5% bond point CEs
- Obligatory don’t buy this if you don’t have 5K MP.
- Foumes > Dinnertime = Gran Cavallo > Teatime for personal use.
- Mona Lisa
- Note that you’ll still have to farm a good amount of lottos to get enough MP to buy this.
Luxury/Situational:
- Various MCs (2004/Anni Blonde/New Year)
- These three MCs have relevance in farming, you would mainly buy them because they’re faster than using Plugsuit. However, Plugsuit can replace these MCs which is why they’re considered luxury.
- 2004 is used in looping compositions (XSS comps heavily use it, some XCC comps use it). Anni Blonde is used in some crit-based compositions that need a starbomb. New Year MC has a 10% battery, a starbomb, and a NP mod built in.
- Bella Lisa
- Meh, might as well. You could probably argue for different placement.
- Beginning of the Journey
- It’s like bank interest so you can get more FP so you can do more servant pulls for coins so you can do coin → grail conversion in the future (564k FP = 1 grail).
- CBC 2019 (Outrage CE)
- The only taunt CE you can get in the game now. It’s a 1 turn taunt so your servant better die if you’re using this. Primarily used for esports (minturning) servants. You can only buy this if you didn’t already pick a CE if you had participated in the original event.
- Santera NP copies
- You need 8 additional RP to get 4 more copies of her.
- March 2026 will remove Santera copies from the RP shop and you can buy it with Evocation Leaves instead. You do not get refunded RP.
- BB NP copies
- BB is rarely used due to her low base attack as well as lack of class advantage. Additionally, it’s just easier to use another moon cancer that can do more damage. Get the copies if you like BB.
- May 2026 will remove BB copies from the RP shop and you can buy it with Evocation Leaves instead. You do not get refunded RP.
- Crystallized Lore
- This one is a little tricky to recommend because it’s expensive and you only get a single lore. 5 RP is a lot, especially for new players but if you really need it, you can buy it. When you can get around 30 lores a year, it’s not that important to get.
- Remaining MCs (Royal Brand/Memories of the Far Side of the Moon)
- I’ve used Royal Brand once for farming a lotto event and the other one is like ??? who uses this.
- Trial Quests that give tickets (Parvati, Arthur Pendragon, Amakusa, Scathach)
- THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU THE SERVANT TO KEEP
- If you’re swimming in RP you can buy these, 1 RP → 1 ticket (equal to 3 quartz).
- Some trial quests become free in the future, scroll down to the JP section to see which ones do.
- If you buy one that’s not on this list (Musashi for example) you will be sad because it doesn’t give any tickets.
- Other RP CEs (Sweet Crystal/Fondant for example)
- They’re not as important but you might as well get these if you have the RP as well. You can just sit on the RP and buy them if you need them at that point.
Everything else:
Don’t buy these unless you’re a whale.
JP
Disclaimer: Just read NA for reasoning. Most of it is the same unless it’s moved in which case I’ll have different reasons.
Free:
All the stuff below is free only if you’ve completed the prerequisite story chapter. If you haven’t, it’ll cost RP and then you’ll be refunded the cost once you complete the story chapter (but you should just do the story chapter instead).
- MP CEs
- There are a bunch of MP CEs whose RP costs are removed once you’ve completed the corresponding story chapter.
- The recommended purchase order for this with MP:
- Chaldea Lunchtime (Fuyuki)
- Detective Foumes (London)
- Beyond the Night Without the Snow Flower (LB1)
- Chaldea Dinnertime (Babylonia)
- Gran Cavallo (LB Prologue)
- Chaldea Teatime (America)
- Mona Lisa (Orleans)
- Take Romance (Camelot)
- Free Seating (LB3)
- Bella Lisa (LB Prologue)
- Seeking the End of Eternity (LB3)
- Beyond the Rain Cloud (LB2)
- Before the Dawnbreak (LB5.2)
- The rest
- It takes longer to hit 170 than to max out all the MCs which is why master EXP is preferred over mystic code EXP.
- Dantes Tower
- London clear required, Solomon clear for the CQ. Reposting rewards here so you don’t have to scroll up.

- CCC SE.RA.PH Main Interlude (the one with BB)
- Solomon clear required. You get a ton of rewards from this. It does cost you 7.7 mil QP to complete but that’s minimal in the grand scheme of things.

- Santa Altera Main Interlude
- Babylonia clear required. Santa Altera is a free 20% targeted battery servant with a 30% NPmod making her one of the best servants for newer players. Also it gives you some quartz.
- Tunguska Sanctuary Main Interlude
- LB6 completion required. This is not mandatory to actually complete Tunguska because everyone has access to the Prologue and Epilogue when you beat LB6.

- All the Statesmen! access
- America clear required. Paul Bunyan quests for anyone that’s confused. NP5.
- Ooku Main Interlude
- LB3 and SE.RA.PH completion required (can be original event, rerun, or SE.RA.PH main interlude)

- Imaginary Scramble Main Interlude
- LB4 completion required.

- Free Mystic Codes
- Memories of the Lunar Sea (SE.RA.PH Main Interlude completion required)
- Ceremonial New Year (Solomon completion required)
- Souya High School (Lostbelt Prologue completion required)
- Anni Blonde (Lostbelt Prologue completion required)
- Memories of the Far Side of the Moon (Solomon completion required)
- Brilliant Summer (Ordeal Call Prologue completion required)
- Captain Chaldea (Ordeal Call Prologue completion required)
- Chaldea Pathfinder (Ordeal Call Prologue completion required)
- New Year’s Attire (Ordeal Call Prologue completion required)
- Free Trial quests
- Arjuna and Karna (America completion required)
- Brynhildr (LB2 completion required)
- Sherlock Holmes (Lostbelt Prologue completion required)
- Hokusai (Salem completion required)
- Parvati (LB3 completion required)
- Musashi (Shimosa completion required) (no quartz or ticket)
- MHXA (Solomon completion required) (no quartz or ticket)
- Amakusa Shirou (Solomon completion required)
- Arthur Pendragon (Solomon completion required)
- Scathach (America completion required)
- Free other quests
- Learn with Manga! FGO Volume 2 Quest (America completion required)
- Fate/Grand Order Arcade Commemorative Quest (Solomon completion required)
- All other free trial quests that I might’ve missed
- Free costumes (refunded if purchased early)
- I removed the table, consult this doc for more info.
Recommended:
- Bond Grails
- Heroic Portrait CE (HSP)
Luxury/Situational
- Various MCs (2004)
- Beginning of the Journey
- It’s like bank interest so you can get more FP so you can do more servant pulls for coins so you can do coin → grail conversion (564k FP = 1 grail).
- CBC 2017 (Outrage CE)
- Costumes
- If you like making your servants look good (fashion is the true endgame).
- Yes there are still costumes that cost RP, deal with it.
- Crystallized Lore
- 7th anni gave us 1 lore for every 5 max ascension servants so honestly just go raise some more servants instead of doing buying this.
- Remaining MCs (Royal Brand)
- Command codes
- Command codes are fairly niche, buy them if you need them for a fight.
- Other RP CEs (Sweet Crystal/Fondant for example)
- Again, niche, only if you need it for a fight specifically.
- It’s worth noting that Decapitating Bunny 2016 only costs MP to get and while it doesn’t have starting NP, the RP cost for Sweet Crystal is very high to justify getting it.
Everything else:
Still don’t buy these unless you’re a whale.
