If you’re reading this and want to learn more about my younger brother Jay (not his irl name btw) I’m here to tell you.

Jay is ten years old and was supposed to be born dead. The fact that he is even alive is a miracle. He started to talk and eat normally when he was two but then regressed.

Now he refuses to eat solid food and doesn’t talk. He has Down syndrome in case you already hadn’t known.

When he was six, he got leukemia, cancer of the blood, but has been cancer free for two years.

Through the years, many people have made fun of him, mostly due to lack of understanding. People have also thought I was a freak because of my brother.

I spread Jay’s story and #awarenessforjay in hopes that people will come to understand and respect people like my brother, and treat them as human beings instead of “freaks.”

Jay has an extremely intelligent mind and has an obsession with DVDs. Who owns around five hundred and knows everything about each and every one of them. He loves going on car rides as well as jumping on the trampoline with me. His birthday is January fifth.
