Thank you for your interest in Syntero’s School -Based Prevention Services! We are excited to be able to provide a much needed service to our community. Our prevention services cover both
mental health and alcohol or other drug related needs within the school system and are of NO
COST to the students or schools. Currently Syntero’s school-based prevention programs are grant funded through the Alcohol Drug and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board of Franklin County & Delaware/Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Services Board, allowing our agency to offer services to multiple school districts in Delaware, Franklin & Morrow Counties, grades PreK-12.

We have three different levels of prevention services that relate directly to Response to
Intervention (RTI):
- Tier 1 Core, Universal instruction & Supports: Services target everyone regardless of level or risk. This includes classroom presentations, parent workshops, professional development for school staff, etc.
- Tier 2 Targets Interventions & Supports: More targeted instruction or intervention and supplemental support. Syntero can provide individual and group sessions usually lasting between 5-7 sessions as well as assessing needs for more intensive services & assisting with linking students to higher levels of care.
- Tier 3 Intensive/Individualized Interventions: Focuses on the individual needs of students who exhibit ongoing patterns of problem behavior and require intensive intervention. Syntero does not typically provide these services in every school. This type of service includes outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient treatment, school social work, treatment groups, etc. If you have questions about this level of service, please contact your Syntero coordinator.
