Parent Council Member School Based Decision Making

Nomination Application

School Year 2026-2027 and 2027-2028

Eligibility Status: A parent, step-parent, or another person who has legal custody of a student pursuant to a court order and with whom the student resides.

Non-Eligibility: Parents who work at LTES. Parents that have a mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, wife, husband, aunt, uncle, son-in-law, or daughter-in-law of someone that works for LTES or work in the district administrative offices, local board members and their spouses. Parents whose youngest child is entering 5th grade.

Responsibilities: To serve a 2-year term (July 1st- June 30th). To attend training over the summer. To attend the monthly meetings. To agree to a background check. (Current parent council members are eligible for re-election.)

Nominations: Parents may nominate themselves, or another parent.
