An excellent communicator & good problem solver.  Principal strengths include interpersonal skills, and motivation / development, prioritising workloads, multitasking, articulate and work to deadlines.

September 2009 to June 2010. I took a career break to re-train in Dance, travelled to New York and took Master Classes at a Latin Dance School in Salsa.  I travelled to Morocco and Egypt to study Middle Eastern Dance. I attended courses in Dance in the Community and became an Advisor for Arts Award (Trinity College London). I am currently taking BA (Hons) Professional Practice (Arts) Middlesex University.

1981 to 1998

Dance Teacher

Music, dance and drama were part of the National Curriculum. The specialist dance teachers had the experience to support staff in the early years, primary, secondary and special schools, and develop their skills in the performing arts across all abilities and cultures introducing creativity and cross-curricular activities.

Corinda Hall School of Dance was established with up to 150 students and expanded the business to include a small production company. The school employed two part-time dance teachers.

After school Dance clubs and adult classes established.  National Lottery funding and local council support was secured for community projects including schools, clubs and other dance groups. Dance shows were produced directed and choreographed in local theatres. Management of contracts, budgets, design, marketing and media coverage nationally via TV and Radio interviews.
