Demonstrate observations using their five sense.

 The children will identify items in the room that can be seen, hear, tasted, smelled, or touch.

  1.  The teacher will display magazines pictures cut in half.
  2. Have the children put them together.
  3. Have the children answer what sense helped them put the pictures together.
  4. Then, the teacher will make sounds.
  5. Have the children identify the sounds, and tell what sense help them identify the sound?
  6. Place different objects in a feely box have the children describe the items.
  7. Have the children tell what sense helped them describe the items.
  8. Place different food items in different bags.
  9. Have the children to describe the items and identify each smell.
  10. Set labeled paper cups with different juice to each child.
  11. Have the children take turns closing their eyes, take sip from each cup, and attempt to identify the drink by taste.
  12. Help the children make a graph.
  13. Discuss results.
  14. Have the children describe the taste and answer what sense helped them with the juice tasting.
  15. Have the children choose an item from the class  that can be seen, touched, smelled, hear, and taste.
  16. Ask, why do we need our senses?
  17. How does each sense helps us?
  18. What would happen if we did not have our senses?
