- Have the children put them together.
- Have the children answer what sense helped them put the pictures together.
- Then, the teacher will make sounds.
- Have the children identify the sounds, and tell what sense help them identify the sound?
- Place different objects in a feely box have the children describe the items.
- Have the children tell what sense helped them describe the items.
- Place different food items in different bags.
- Have the children to describe the items and identify each smell.
- Set labeled paper cups with different juice to each child.
- Have the children take turns closing their eyes, take sip from each cup, and attempt to identify the drink by taste.
- Help the children make a graph.
- Discuss results.
- Have the children describe the taste and answer what sense helped them with the juice tasting.
- Have the children choose an item from the class that can be seen, touched, smelled, hear, and taste.
- Ask, why do we need our senses?
- How does each sense helps us?
- What would happen if we did not have our senses?
