- Guided Practice: Distribute one connecting cube to each child. Have children make a real graph by lining up according to the color of their cube. Have children identify which line has the most children.

- Small Group: Use animal crackers and have children decide which one they like best. Have children place their favorite cracker in the appropriate row of their graph.

Discuss which row has the most and the fewest. Children will draw a picture of the cracker he or she liked best, remove the cracker from the graph and tape the picture in the crackers place.
