Make sure that you have sentence variety.
simple - one subj + one verb (predicate)
I love pizza.
compound --- you have two simple sentences joined together with a conjunction (and, but, or, however, thus).
I love pizza and I hate spinach.
I love pizza, but I despise sardines.
complex ---- going to want to use a (;)
I love pizza, however, I despise sardines unless, of course, they are the fish on the pizza pie at my best friend, Gertrude’s house; her mother is the best cook ever.
Semi-colon is really like a period that marries a comma.
Only use a semi-colon where you COULD HAVE used a period.
I love pizza; however, I hate sardines.
I, however, love pizza.
I love pizza; I hate sardines.
I love pizza “it is the food of champions” and I will defend it to the death; it is my mana (45).
