Hey everybody, I've got a room to rent ASAP in my apartment in Ridgewood.

Perhaps you or someone you know has been trying to find a place and it just isn't happening, or maybe your plans suddenly fell through.  The good news is you won't have to stay with a lecherous old man in a cockroach-infested aparment somewhere in Jamaica -- you can move in to my amazing apartment!!!

The room is 14x8 feet and has two enormous windows. The room also has stained glass French doors and FIVE CLOSETS!  I know.  It doesn't make any sense, but they're there, I tell you.

The apartment itself has a rather large and nice living room and a very spacious kitchen with loads of cabinet space.  I have cabinets out the wazoo.  The bathroom has a full-sized tub and, although not palatial, is more spacious than some New York bathrooms.

Conveniently located nearby are a Chinese restaurant, a burrito place, a laundromat across the street, a Polish deli staffed entirely by attractive Eastern European women (I don't know -- they have fish in a bucket and sell great cookies), and your typical bodega-type places. There are several supermarkets and produce places around too.

A few short blocks from the M and a 6-7 minute walk to the L, the apartment is convenient to all the cool stuff that's happening in Bushwick, Williamsburg, the East Village, Union Square, the Lower East Side, SoHo, and the West Village.  It takes about 23 minutes to get to the LES and you can be at the Bedford stop in ~20.   The B38 stops on the block and goes down to Brooklyn Heights.  Oh!  And great European stuff on Fresh Pond Road, and there's a really amazing (and cheap) yoga studio three blocks away.

All this for the low, low price of $600/month plus utilities (generally $50-60).

No lease required, and I'm looking for a short- or long-term roomie!

Oh, and if the idea of moving to Ridgewood frightens or confuses you, it's honest-to-God a two block walk to Brooklyn.
