THE MOUSE AND THE TRAP
A mouse was looking through a hole in the wall and he saw the owner of the farm and his wife are opening a package.
The mouse thought about what kind of food could be there. But he was terrified when he discovered it was a mousetrap.
He ran into the yard of the house to warn everyone: There is a mousetrap in the house, a mousetrap in the house!
"The chicken looked up and said, "Excuse me Mr. Mouse. I understand it is a problem for you, but I don´t harm me at all.
Then the mouse went to where was the lamb and said: "There is a mousetrap in the house, a mousetrap!" And the lamb replied, "Excuse me, Mr. Mouse, but there is nothing I can do. But rest assured that I will remember you in my prayers"
The mouse looked the cow, and she said: "But perhaps I am in danger? I think not," said the cow.
So, the mouse returned to the house, worried and depressed. That night they heard a loud noise, like a mousetrap catching its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught.
In the darkness, she saw that the trap had caught the tail of a snake and the snake bit the woman. The husband took her and they went to the hospital and she returned with fever. For the fever, nothing better than chicken soup. The husband grabbed his knife and went for the chicken.
As the woman continued disease, friends and neighbors came to visit her. To feed his friends killed the lamb.
The woman didn´t improve and eventually died. The farmer then sold the cow to the slaughterhouse to cover funeral expenses.
The moral is: "The next time you hear someone has a problem and think it isn´t yours and doesn´t deserve your attention .... think about it twice."
