Creamy Mac and Cheese

12 oz. dried pasta
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup onion, minced
8 oz. cheddar, grated
2 oz. Parmesan, grated
¼ cup milk
4 oz. plain yogurt
3 tbsp. butter, room temperature
Salt & Pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain well, and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
Immediately return pasta to the pot. Add the garlic, onions, and cheeses and stir briefly. Mix in the milk, yogurts, and butter and stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.
If necessary, add a small amount of reserved pasta water to adjust the consistency. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
