Kleffer goes over 1200 points

for his three year career at Richland

ESSEX - He’s been called a scoring machine and now the statistics prove it.  Richland senior Ryan Kleffer scored 29 points Friday night to help lead the Rebels to a 68-61 win over SCAA rival Bell City, but there was an even bigger milestone reached on this night.

Kleffer broke the 1200 point mark for his three year High School career at Richland.  He had earlier this seson surpassed 1000 career points in a game at Marquand, but Richland  officials wanted to honor him at a home game.

Richard Forshee had 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win over the Cubs, while Kyle Montgomery and Aaron Gilbert each contributed 10 points in the victory.

Earlier this year Kleffer made history with a 54 point game in the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.
