Homework for Term 2, Week 10
Maths
Visit this website to play the Connect Four maths game. Can you figure out a strategy to beat the computer?
Reading
Read for 20 minutes each day, from Monday to Thursday (you can read for more, and read in the weekends too!)
Writing
Read the class blog post, then go to your own website and do a post on the blog page. You need to write about all of the subjects that appear on our class blog, plus anything else that you would like to add.
Remember, this is a post on your own website blog, not a comment on the class blog.
French
The dates post from last week is the one that we will focus on in Week 10, as we haven’t yet started the unit. Have a look at the post to make sure you have a heads up on the content of the next unit.
Te Reo Maori
Visit the class blog and go to our ‘Let’s Learn Te Reo Maori’ blog. Check out the new weekly post that is put up and leave a comment. You can also go through the previous posts to revise on older lessons. ( If you don’t have a computer at home, you can use on of the class computers before school).
This week the post is on learning learning the numbers in hundreds, from 100 to 1000.
Spelling
Learn your weekly list of words. Spend time each night going over them so that you are ready to be tested on Friday.
Health and PE
Go outside and play whenever you get the opportunity. This could include kicking your rugby ball, climbing trees, skateboarding, and shooting hoops on the netball court. In fact, any physical activity to get your heart pumping and the blood flowing. Just do it!
