Welcome to the Natural Gamer’s Racing Rally Championship (NGRRC). The NGRRC originated from NGR, Natural Gamer’s Racing (Originally NfsGuy Racing), by the Master Administrator, NFSGUY (ENDURANCEGUY on GTPlanet), who was a rally fan. Now in its very first season (2012), NGR promises for it to be an awesome one.
At NGRRC, we are committed to bring the best and fairest rally competition on Gran Turismo.
Now, at first are the regulations.
Settings:
* These are the base regulations, which applies with all car divisions
DIVISIONS: In the NGRRC, we have 5 divisions. The WRCC 2000, WRCC 1990, WRCC 1980, WRCC 1970 and GTRMRC.The WRCC 2000 will compete in EVERY rally. The others only compete in different. WRCC 2000, World Rally Championship Car 2000, is the division that is for rally cars that have been in the WRC, manufactured in 2000 or later. WRCC 1990 is the exact same, though it’s is for cars manufactured in 1990 - 1999. The same applies for the 1980 and 1970 division. GTRMRC, Gran Turismo Race Modified Rally cars, is for modified cars in Gran Turismo 5. Currently, there are only two cars that are eligible. Those are the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution TC (As received in a previous update), and the Subaru Impreza STI RM car.
This was created to separate the differences between different cars competing. The division with the most wins will be named the winner of the rally.
- - Rally day - -
Now most of our rallies will be up to 3 or 4 days. With each day bringing a small amount of SSs, the rally will take more than one day. Although, when drivers compete in the SSs, they start one by one. Once one driver finishes the Special Stage, the next driver starts. The cycle happens again until there are no more drivers.
Now, there are quite abit of things in between SSs and days.
Firstly, we have a TRACK RUN. This is where drivers may drive around showing off before the rally.
Next is the OPENING CEREMONY. This is the starting stage of the rally, where the host will announce the starting positions, drivers, cars, divisions etc. ALL DRIVERS MUST BE IN LOBBY BEFORE THE OPENING CEREMONY. After that, the rally starts.
Now in between SSs, there will be SERVICE PARKs. This is where you will be allowed to make repairs to your car, or change your settings.
At the end of each day there will be a PARC FERME. This is pretty much the end of the day.
At the end of each rally, we will have a CLOSING CEREMONY. This is where the host will announce the winners and statistics.

POINTS:
Now since the Eiger Rally 2012 is officially in the NGRRC, there will be a points system. They can be earned by achieving certain positions in each SS. This goes for the Drivers’, divisions’, and Manufactures’ points. The one with most points gets a position in the title award of NGRRC. Here is a complete list of point standings.
All other participants below 8th gets 0 PTS.
TERMS, RULES, BEHAVIOR ETC.: The NGRRC, by TNG, is suppose and is to be a championship that is as realistic as possible. So we do not want people quitting to repair their car automatically. If you do, we will, without warning, disqualify you and you will be kicked. Meaning that you will be marked as RETIRED. We also ask that you DO NOT cheat. Any cheating that is spotted will be disqualified, kicked, and marked as RETIRED. Just as most room hosts do not want, is lagging drivers. Before entering, please message me (NFSGUY) you NAT Type, and bandwidth level. We do not want lagging, which causes for false times. Finally, PLEASE be a good sportsman. Show good sportsmanship. As with the WRC, we will have a PARC FERME at the end of each day, and SERVICE PARK. Service parks is a special time where you are allowed to exit the track, and tune your car, or fix damage. The amount of time spent in the Service Park will be used as a time penalty.
DRIVERS AND CO-DRIVERS: Each competitor will create a name for the team they are racing for (You can name your team anything! Just make sure it’s appropiate). The name may either be created by the driver or co-driver. Now, on to the drivers! But you may be a bit confused about these ‘drivers’. That’s what I’m going to explain! A driver is, without doubt, REQUIRED. Though a co-driver is not required, but is RECOMMENDED. The co-driver must be a friend of the driver who is able to be with you, meaning using only one PSN account. Here what I mean:
Minimum team size:
1 driver
1 PS3 with GT5 and PSN account (Mic is optional, but is recommended)
RECOMMENDED team size:
1 driver
1 co-driver
1 PS3 with GT5 and PSN account (Mic required!)
We do ask that you stay in the rally at all times, and do not leave! DO NOT LEAVE! You also may have another friend or person to join your team, to get a better chance at winning.
Here’s an example:
Team: Ford Abu Dhabi WRT
Drivers: John Valooks, Mike Tiroven
Co-drivers: Shaun Foremaker, Ty Jacker
Car: Ford Focus RS WRC 07 ‘08
You may have a maximum of 5 drivers/co-drivers, and a minimum of 1 co-/driver.
POSITIONS: Ok, so you might be wondering if there is any rewards and/or rewards after finishing the rally in 3rd or better. Well good news! THERE IS!!! Here’s a chart of prizes:
All other competitors receive: No reward / NGR: <name>2012 Competitor Award
NOTE: Any driver who has received a penalty will still receive an award. Respectively retired drivers will receive: No reward / NGR: Eiger Rally 2012 Participation Award. Any un-respectively (retired because of cheating etc.) retired drivers will NOT receive an award/reward.
RETIREMENTS: Retiring from the rally will mean you have quit from participating from the rally. But some may think: ‘how and when may I retire?’ Well, in order to retire, you need a good reason. Acceptable reasons are mechanical damage (ONLY when you can barely drive your car), connection problems, health problems (heart attacks, strokes etc.) and connection lost. If you are choosing to retire and it is not one of these reasons, you’ll need to persuade me why. Other than that, you are expected to complete the race. Though there is reasons that you will retire automatically. Cheating etc. is a big no-no, and you’ll be FORCED to retire.
PENALTIES: Ok, in this rally, there is penalties. These penalties DO NOT represent that you’ve been ILLEGALLY cheating. Penalties here, are for legally cheating, or doing prohibited things. Time will be added to your race time. So if you had 1:45:90, and a PT (Penalty time) of 3:00:00, your time will be 4:45:90. This is the list of penalties obtainable in race:
- Idling (The driver either idles at start, or just stops mid drive. Time spent idling will be doubled as a time penalty. So: 20 seconds idling would be 40 seconds penalty)
- Excessive angles (The driver, somehow, has the car in an angle that is greater than 180 degrees. Penalty time: 30 sec
- On-track flip (The driver, somehow, flips his car 360 degrees. Penalty doubled by number of flips. 1 flip: 30 seconds, 2 flips: 1 minute, 3 flips: 2 minutes etc.)
- Wall Collision (The driver collides with the wall. Speeds determine penalty time. 20-50 km/h: 10 seconds, 50-100 km/h: 30 seconds, +110 km/h: 1 minute)
- Excessive use of handbrake (Driver uses the handbrake for a long period of time before sliding. Penalty given when driver holds on for more than 5 seconds. Penalty: 10 seconds)
RACING GEAR: In this rally, NGR restricts that you must wear the Safari (Arai) helmet of your choice. Though your suit may be the manufacturer of your choice (AlpineStars and Sparco), but must have the colour of your car manufacturer. Check this document to see a list of the official manufacturer colours. (Unfinished)
SUPE-RALLY: As in the WRC, there is a Supe-Rally. This allows drivers who retire on the first or second day of the event, to compete again in the following day. Although, you will receive a time penalty of 5 minutes. It is required that you come the following day, or you will be marked as RETIRED.
