NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission that we formally recognize Michael Hall as Volunteer of the Year on behalf of the The Pennsbury Society. Since being elected President three years ago, Mike has been an admirable leader during the most financially difficult period in the Society's and site's history.  He has led the charge in board development, focusing board giving and new board member recruitment.  Mike spends countless hours striving to improve the board and the operations at Pennsbury.   He makes contacts in the local and museum communities and finds the right assistance to help Pennsbury meet its mission.  During his time at the helm, Mike has partnered seamlessly with the PHMC and he can often be found actively participating during public events.
